Love Or Revenge

Chapter 2

The young man nodded, then returned to the sofa and sat down, carefully observing every movement at the bar counter.

After drinking one bottle after another, when the two men began to approach the bra, a tall figure seemed to descend out of thin air, and a strange aura covered the surroundings tightly.

"If you want to drink it so much, how about I drink it with you?"

She raised her eyes, which were heavy with alcohol, and only saw the collar of the white shirt. She continued to raise her eyelids, but it did not change. She raised her head slightly and vaguely saw his face—the face that she had known at the age of thirteen and could never be forgotten. Every day and night over the years, no matter which street she walked on, she always had an illusion that she could see him at the intersection of a turn.

She suddenly stood up and fell into his arms, with her hands tightly around his waist.

"Don't leave, okay? Don't leave me behind, okay? I promise I won't leave you in the future, I promise..." She rubbed her face against his chest, and her crystal tears soaked his shirt. "After I come back, I won't leave again. I really won't leave again. Let's not break up, okay?"

He looked up at the dim light—the two of them stopped moving, and then their indifferent eyes suddenly became cold. He tilted his lips and hugged her tightly with both hands. "It's all right. We won't break up. Let's get out of here first, okay?"

"No! Don't leave! Don't leave me!" Wen Fei murmured in a low and soft voice.

"I won't leave you, I won't leave..." His voice softened involuntarily. He gently stroked the back of her head and said, "Be a good girl. Come back with me. Be a good girl. Let's go back, okay?"

The person lying in his arms did not respond. He raised his shoulder slightly, but she still did not respond. So he called the waiter to pay the bill, looked coldly at the dark light again, and helped her out of the bar.

That night, when she was drunk for the first time, passed by in a daze.

The scholar had a chaotic and sleepy dream all night. In his dream, he fell heavily. In his dream, there was a strange voice, a strange hug, and a strange breath, but there was a familiar face to him.

Early in the morning, she opened her eyes and felt dizzy. She struggled to get up, but before she sat down, she heard the sound of rushing water. After a pause, she looked around and found that the decoration of the hotel was unfamiliar. When she looked down, she found that she was wearing only a bathrobe all over her body. She was shocked and anxious. She immediately realized that things were terrible and jumped up in fright. For a moment, she felt sore all over and found that her arms and legs were covered with bruises.

The sound of water stopped abruptly at this moment.

The scholar stood there in horror. He only felt that his legs were filled with lead, but he couldn't stop trembling. His brown eyes were full of resentment as he stared straight at the door of the bathroom.

When the wet handsome man rubbed his hair and opened the door, he came out with only a towel wrapped around his whole body. The scholar couldn't breathe and hurriedly wrapped himself with the quilt.

The half-naked handsome man frowned, and his expression was full of disgust. He asked lightly, "Are you awake?"

Wen Xun glared at him with resentment. He was anxious and angry. Obviously, he felt that his internal organs were trembling. He asked stiffly, "Who are you? Why are you here?"

The half-naked handsome man put on an indifferent look, wiped his head, and walked to the sofa. "I saved you, but you didn't thank me. Instead, you talked to your savior in such a tone?"

"What, what do you mean?"

"You were drugged while drinking. If it weren't for me, you might have already..." The half-naked handsome man stopped and raised his eyebrows, looking as if he knew what she was talking about.

The scholar was stunned. Obviously, she had not fully absorbed the meaning of his words.

The half-naked handsome man squinted at her and continued to wipe the water droplets on his body. When he was about to change clothes, he suddenly screamed behind him. Then a pillow fell on his back and fell to the ground.

"Ah—you hooligan! Bastard! You—"

The scholar was so angry that he picked up a pillow, a pillow, and everything on the bed that could be picked up and thrown at the half-naked handsome man. There was nothing left to throw on the bed. She leaned over to grab the clothes on the head of the bed. When she held them in her hand, she found that it was her clothes, even the Magus A!

The scholar completely broke down and fell to the side of the bed. He was so depressed that he almost died.

The half-naked handsome man was a little annoyed by her sobs. He threw down the towel and said, "To tell you the truth, nothing happened."

"Who are you lying to? How can you... say something like that?" Wen Xi turned his back to him, wiping his tears as he stared at the bruises on his body.

He fiddled with his hair irritably and said, "Miss Wen, don't you have too much confidence in yourself? I'm not interested in a little girl like you who hasn't fully developed yet."

Damn it! How could there be such a bastard? He ate people and made people ashamed?! All of a sudden, his anger rushed to the top of his head. Wen Xun looked up at him with hatred. At this time, the doorbell rang.

It was a hotel waiter who had brought her clothes.

After sending away the waiter, the half-naked handsome man threw the woman's clothes on the bed and said like a broken pot, "Miss Wen, last night, you hugged me tightly, begging me not to leave, don't leave..."

"You can leave now. Just pretend that you haven't seen me before. I haven't seen you either." Wen Fei interrupted in a low and weak voice.

Looking at her depressed look, it seemed that she had suffered a great loss! The half-naked handsome man suddenly became interested and the corners of his mouth curled up. He bent down and put his palms on the bed. "You've been making trouble for so long, don't you want me to take responsibility?"

The scholar did not answer. He wrapped himself in the quilt and leaned against the head of the bed.

"Go, go, go, go, go..." The scholar suddenly raised his head and glared at him coldly. He closed his mouth and raised the corners of his mouth. He stood up straight and picked up his clothes to change.

A moment later, the half-naked handsome man gracefully walked out of the bathroom with his sleeves crossed. His dark and blue eyes were slightly smiling, and he stared at the scholar sitting stiffly at the head of the bed.

After tidying himself up, he took out a business card and slowly put it on the bedside table. He whispered, "The business card is here. It's best if you can figure it out. It doesn't matter if you can't figure it out. Contact me. I'm not the kind of person who doesn't go back on his word after eating."

After that, he left quickly.

The scholar didn't leave the hotel until noon when the sun was at its most dazzling. Before leaving, she picked up the business card and tore it into two pieces in silence.

In the trash can, the two halves of the business card were lying quietly, and the words that were put together could be seen clearly—The president of the board of directors, Yuan disturb.

The depressed scholar did not notice that after she got in the taxi, a van parked on the side of the road began to follow her.

In the passenger seat of the van was the young man who did not succeed in the bar that night. At this moment, he was respectfully making a phone call. "Yes, yes, yes. Don't worry, Miss Shu. This time, we will definitely not let her slip away again! We will definitely send her to the hotel on time!"

The taxi stopped in the pavilion of Binhu Lake.

Binhu Jiayuan was the earliest group of villas in Fanzi City. It was built by the Wen Clan through investment, so the third generation of the Wen Clan lived here. Although the era was improving, and the new property was becoming more and more perfect, this place was still the benchmark of the main house of the prosperous city. The Wen Clan had two sons in the generation of Wen Yunyong. The eldest son, Wen Yunwei, married the daughter of the Yu Family, and had a son and a daughter. The second son, Wen Yunyong, married the poor Xia Xiaoyu, and only had a daughter, Wen Yang. Most of the Wen Clan's enterprise's power was in the hands of the second son, and the two elders also lived with their second son.

The scholar shut the door listlessly. As soon as he turned around, a curious face came into her sight. She was scared out of her wits. "What are you jealous of? Are you going to scare me to death?!"

Wen Xun shrugged his shoulders with envy and said with some frustration, "I've been in your house for a long time, and there's no one here."

"Is there no one who wants to scare us?" Wen Xun snorted. His face was full of contempt and disgust for Wen Xun, and he went upstairs angrily.

Wen Xi was envious of the youngest daughter of her uncle's family. She was born two months later than her. She had been obedient and sensible since she was a child, and was more popular than Wen Xi. Her character was delicate and soft, and her voice was sweet and pleasant to listen to.

"No, I just waited too long. In fact, I came here today to ask for your help..." Wen Xun followed her all the way and went to Wen Fei's room. Seeing that she took off her clothes and threw them aside without any cover, he was shocked by the bruises on her body. "Hey, what's wrong with you?"

The scholar's back was back facing the scholar. His movements were stiff. He immediately pulled up the clothes on the side and put them on. He pretended to be calm and said, "I'm fine."

Wen Xun was naturally not convinced. She walked over carefully and asked tentatively, "Who did you go out with last night? Why didn't you come back all night?"

"Why are you asking so many questions?" The scholar was angry and his face turned red.

Wen Xun shrugged enviously and said disapprovingly, "It's nothing. I came to see you last night, but you were not there. Why didn't you go home during the night of your parents' business trip?"

The scholar was so angry that he wanted to slap the girl in front of him. But he didn't have the confidence in his heart. He glared at the scholar with envy and got into the quilt, falling asleep.

Wen Jing still didn't take it seriously. He said around the bed, "In fact, I came here to ask you for a favor. You know what happened between me and Ye Hua. Because of this, I have quarreled with my mother many times. Now she doesn't give me any money. He is responsible for all the expenses of Ye Hua and me. I'm really embarrassed to let him spend money all the time, so I want to borrow some from you."

Zheng Yehua was an envious first love. It had been five years since he was a freshman. Over the past five years, their relationship was exactly the same as before. Every day, they were in a hot love period. Unfortunately, Zheng Ye's family was poor and his parents looked down upon him.

According to the past, the scholar sympathized with them. But now, she didn't know if it was because she had been betrayed or something unexpected. She only felt upset when she heard it. She snorted in disdain and didn't say anything.

"Well, as long as I'm relaxed, I'll give it back to you immediately. I really have no choice. Look, I haven't even bought new clothes recently." When he said this, he was envious to find that the dress that he had just changed was very new.

The scholar glanced at the scholar with envy and saw that her eyes were fixed on the expensive clothes. It seemed that she was really at the end of her rope. Otherwise, she would not have such a look.

"I'm only wearing it for a while. I don't have any new clothes recently. If you like it, take it. The money is in my bag. If you take it, go on a date. Don't disturb my rest." After that, he pretended to be asleep.
