This sense of familiarity was incredibly strong, raking up the most painful memories from three years ago that caused her entire body to shiver.

"Afraid of me?"

The man's voice, cold as ice, almost seemed to freeze Luo Xi’s heart in place. Suppressing her burgeoning anxiety, she responded coolly, "What do you want?"

"After three years, this is how you talk to your husband?"

His tone inexplicably changed. For a moment, Luo Xi felt as though she were hallucinating. Husband... What the hell is he talking about?

Taking a deep breath to steady herself, she turned and brushed away his wandering hand, matching his icy smile.

"Qi Sishao, it's been only three years and you seem to be suffering from Alzheimer's. If I remember correctly, we are already divorced."

Hearing the word 'divorce', Qi Wang slightly furrowed his brows, "Is that so?"

She glared at him, "Are you out of your mind? I need to leave. Please step aside, Qi Sishao."

She attempted to push him, but he stood resolute and unyielding, blocking her like a tall wall.

"Why did you come back?"

Luo Xi pressed her lips together. Her initial nerves gradually dissipated, leaving only a feeling of confusion towards Qi Wang’s bizarre behavior.

"Is Mian City your property? My home is here, and I can come back whenever I like. Is it any of your business?"

Ignoring her sarcastic remarks, Qi Wang asked again, "Are you back to get married?"

Luo Xi held her breath for a moment, then suddenly began to laugh, "Shouldn't Qi Sishao already know? I believe the wedding invitation will soon be delivered. When the time comes, please accept my invitation to have a celebratory drink, Qi Sishao."

Her smile was as beautiful as a blooming flower!

That was the only thought in Qi Wang's mind right now.

Looking at her radiant smile, he smiled too. Her words seemed to have no effect on him at all, he suddenly leaned in and with a gentle push, he had her pinned against the washing stand in a split second.

The pressure around her waist caused a sharp pain. Before Luo Xi could even frown, another painful sensation came from her neck.

Her expression changed drastically, and she took in a sharp, cold breath.

Qi Wang had bitten her delicate neck quite forcefully, the pain made Luo Xi grit her teeth.

What she found hard to bear though, were his inexplicable actions and posture.

Not seen for three years, and he's acting crazy the moment they meet!

She pushed him away, grinding her teeth, "Qi Wang, what are you doing? If you want a woman, there are plenty out there! Why are you acting like this?"

Qi Wang lifted his head from her neck, one hand firmly holding her waist to keep her from moving, and smirked, "What other woman would taste as good as you? Tell me, what kind of crazy am I?"

Luo Xi's face flushed, "Qi Wang, have you no shame?"

"Heh..."

Qi Wang let out a low chuckle, his smile erasing his previous chillness and cruelty, displaying a mesmerizing beauty akin to an alluring demon on his handsome face.

Luo Xi was slightly taken aback; he leaned in closer to her, "Rather than my face, I want you even more..."

His voice was soft and husky, but his words were like a bolt of lightning. A bright white light exploded in Luo Xi's mind, before she could react, his hand had already lifted her skirt...

Tears suddenly fell.

Luo Xi, with her big wide eyes, was intently staring at the man who had just pressed his thin lips against hers.

Despite the softness on her lips, it was terribly cold, reminding her of the intense cold from three years ago which had frozen her entire body, except for unstoppable tears streaming down her cheeks.

A bitter taste around her lips made Qi Wang pause.

He drew back slightly, observing her watery eyes. An ambiguous feeling flashed briefly in his eyes, and then all that remained was an icy coldness, reminiscent of a snowstorm.

He pursed his lips slightly; his large frame almost completely covered hers. Luo Xi knew that if he decided to do something to her, she would be totally powerless to resist.
