Unstoppable Love: CEO's Runaway Bride

Chapter 2

Five years later.

At the An City International Airport, third floor of the parking garage.

Ajay stood in front of a black luxury car, peering under the open hood in frustration. Unable to identify the problem within the intricate mechanics, he finally surrendered, "Boss, I definitely can't fix this car in a short time. Should I call for another one to be sent over?"

The towering man, referred to as "Boss", on the other side of the car has short black hair and a straight posture. His countenance is always cold, but his gaze is directed towards a small boy around the corner of the garage.

The boy is stunningly beautiful, as if a fiercely cherished work of God. He's short, with chubby rounded cheeks and exquisite facial features.

Apparently, because of the man's intense gaze, the boy finally notices him. After some hesitations, the boy decided to approach him.

"Excuse me, do you need anything?" The boy looked up at the remarkably handsome man and asked calmly.

The man, named Bo Xuchen, raised an eyebrow, feeling slightly taken aback. He's been staring at an innocent boy waiting around the corner, clearly waiting for someone. Yet, when the boy came over due to his intense stare, he had no idea what to say.

Shaking his head, Bo Xuchen tried to maintain the dignity of being an adult, refusing to admit that he had been captivated by a child.

"Nothing." Bo Xuchen said.

Ajay, half-buried under the car's hood, already frustrated, exclaimed: "Boss, how can you say it's nothing! I can't fix it! I studied computer science, and I really don't know how to repair computers, let alone cars!"

The delicately cute little boy, likely amused by Ajay's rant, sees the corners of his eyes curve into laughter. Then, he moved to the car's front, addressed Ajay, "Uncle, may I take a look?"

Ajay, startled, lifted his head, only then realizing when a child had come to stand beside him.

He gulped, instinctively moving a bit to the side.

The little boy reached for the edge of the car, standing on his tiptoe, peeked inside. Afterward, he patted the dust off his hands, turned, and said, "The engine valve spring has loosened, just tighten it, and you're good to go. Do you guys have any spare tools in the car?"

Ajie was stunned, he looked at the little boy and then at his own boss who was standing on the other side.

What's happening?

A child this small, and he knows how to fix cars?

Bò Xiūchén was also taken aback, he glanced into the hood of the car, then turned his gaze away with furrowed eyebrows.

The little boy didn't seem disappointed by their disbelief, instead, he explained logically: "The engine valve spring ensures that the valve adheres tightly when positioned, this prevents the valve from leaping when the engine is ignited. I'm guessing you got out of the car because the warning light on the dashboard lit up? Try tightening it and if you can't, the only option left is to call for a tow."

The little boy finished his explanation clearly and succinctly when Bò Xiūchén hesitated for a moment and then nodded at Ajie.

In Ajie's mind, it didn't seem plausible, but he decided to try it out in a desperate last resort, so he took the toolbox from the trunk.

At that moment, there was a sudden beep from the electronic watch on the little boy's wrist.

The little boy glanced at it, turned off the incoming call display, and politely bowed to Bò Xiūchén and Ajie, saying, "My mother has found our car, it's time for me to go. It was my pleasure meeting you, goodbye."

With that, the little boy with his short legs ran back to the corner road, where a white Volkswagen Beetle appeared shortly.

He climbed into the passenger seat and the car turned and left, disappearing from view moments later.

Bò Xiūchén looked in the direction the car had vanished, his eyes revealing no emotion. Then he heard Ajie exclaim, "It works! The warning light indeed is off, and there's no strange sound coming from the engine! Boss, it really worked, that kid was amazing!"

Meanwhile, inside the white sedan, Liang Xiaoyi, as usual, was holding a tissue box from the car and started to wipe off the little dust inside.

Babies born in September tend to have some degree of cleanliness.

Looking at her son's constant behavior, Liang Qian Ge couldn't help but laugh, "Why didn't you wait for me at the corner, where did you go?"

Liang Xiaoyi gently said, "An uncle's car had a problem, and he kept looking at me, probably wanting me to check it out for him, so I helped him take a look."

Liang Qian Ge burst out laughing, "My son knows car repair? When did you learn all this without me knowing?"

Liang Xiaoyi calmly tilted his head back with a matter-of-fact expression, "Isn't there a book ‘Common Car Repair Troubleshooting and solutions’ in mom's study?"

Liang Qian Ge frowned, "Is there?"

"Yes, it's between 'HR Management from High-End Perspectives' and 'Partner System Workbox'."

Liang Qian Ge: "Do I really have those two?"

Liang Xiaoyi: "...Mom, isn't that your study?"

Liang Qian Ge: "..."

Her son, not sure who he takes after, loves to read, whether it's professional literature or non-professional literature, he enjoys it. Last month, Liang Qian Ge caught a glimpse of her son reading "Postnatal Care for Sows", and for a moment, she thought her son was planning to start a pig farm.

But now, she suspects that he might want to open a car repair shop in the future.
