~Amelia~

I ran home like I was been chased, literally I was. I shut the door behind me, the minute I got into my room and leaned on it, catching my breath.

I slide down on the ground slowly with my legs drawn to my chest.

What just happened earlier was too much for me to take.

First, Kieran Thorne came back, and was in the same school, Quinns High again! It was no coincidence.

Secondly, he used to throw insults at me or hit me a few times but now he even tried to desecrate me, if it goes on like this, I don’t know what’s gonna happen. What if he decides to take me first or tried to force himself on me and take away my virginity?

Which I was saving for my mate.

I won’t let anyone touch me except him, I have been saving myself for my mate.

I won’t let Kieran force himself on me. I couldn’t let it happen, if he did try to, I didn’t know how I was gonna stop him.

I stood up from the ground and slumped on my bed without taking my clothes off.

I had to put an end to this, Kieran couldn’t come back and treat me as he pleases. I rose from the bed and took off my clothes, I could feel his fingers on me, teasing my nipple.

I sheered the thought off my head and the reaction he got from me and it gave me chills.

I needed a shower, maybe I would stop thinking about it.

I tossed and turned in bed when I got out unable to sleep, I felt restless with a disturbing thought of Kieran. I wasn’t sure of what I was feeling, but I knew I was scared of what’s gonna happen to me now that Kieran is back.

My eyes eventually close up when it was past midnight.

“Amelia!” I heard Mom’s loud voice over my door. I squinted my eyes at the door and the ray of the sun that had found its way into the room through the window that had a slight opening.

“Your breakfast is on the table, I’m off to work, honey.” I yawned and sprawled like a cat on the bed and rubbed my weary eyes.

“I’m gonna see you when I get back from work.” I rolled my eyes at her words, she might have a night shift at work and won’t come home. And I’ll be home alone.

“You’ll be late for school!” Her voice was becoming distant, she was already leaving.

“Amelia Gorge!” She screamed my name.

“Mom!” I yelled back, letting her know I was awake.

“Goodbye!” I groaned and pushed the covers off my body and stared at the mirror with my messy brunette curly hair. I groan and stomped my feet on the ground in annoyance.

I didn’t wanna go to school today, but I can’t avoid it. I was a good student and I shouldn’t miss classes because it’s gonna affect my grades.

“Ash!” I yelled and ruffled my hair. I need to get ready for school.

It’s my worst nightmare, I couldn’t wait till I graduate.

I stared at the giant black gate of Quinns, I almost wanted to go back home. I was reluctant before stepping in, I can’t afford to get my grades affected.

“Amy!” Fanny waved at me bubbling up in excitement. I smiled at my best friend wondering what was making her so happy, nothing interest me in being in school right now.

“Girl!” She shriek with a bright smile on her face when she got close to me and linked her hands to mine.

“I’ve got the best news ever!” She grinned from ear to ear, I could see that already with the look on her face.

“Guess what?” She grabbed my arm and spun me around to face her.

“What?” I knitted my brows at her with a questioning glance.

“Kieran Thorne, the hottest guy ever is back Amy! He got transferred back to Quinns High! I heard that he went to Alpha School to get trained two years ago, and now he’s back, I wanted to know what he really looks like!”Fanny came to the pack after Kieran left two years ago, I didn’t tell her anything between Kieran and me, it’s not surprising that she is so excited.

I stared at her with blank look and the smile on her face faded away.

“You knew?” She eyed me suspiciously staring at my dull face.

“I didn’t.” I lied and shrugged my shoulders in a carefree way.

“Did you sleep well last night, you don’t look too good.”

I nodded, agreeing that I didn’t sleep too well.

“Exams aren’t here yet and you’re already stressed out. You always get a perfect score, Amy, you’re the school nerd.” I pulled her cheeks playfully. She doesn’t have to worry about me, something else kept me up almost all night. Something I couldn’t tell her about.

“Damn, I’m having an English test this morning, see you around Amy! I need to get prepared for it.” Fanny groaned and waved at me and hurried down the hallway. I waved back until she was gone.

I have a test too.

I sigh sadly and head towards the locker to get my books and get ready for class.

I saw someone beside me when I was taking my books out of the locker. I close the door and met this annoying face of Kieran.

He placed a hand on my locker and stared at me with an amusing grin.

“Amelia, did you sleep well last night?” His grin beamed into a soft smile, his silver eyes were fixed on me, and his intense stares were making my skin tingle and my cheeks flushed red. I could see the top of my cheeks.

“I guess you did.” His smiles broaden and he stepped closer to me, staring down at my flushed face.

“You didn’t fantasy with me did you?” He chuckled softly, I looked up at held his gaze and scoffed and the sudden anger I felt remembering how he had touched me against my will.

 “You did...” He laughed at me, I could other boys in the hallway laughing.

“You’re so ugly,” Kieran turned and points at me with a finger. “...she’s so ugly!”

I was crowded with laughter from everyone.

“No one is going to love you, not even your mate would love someone as fat and ugly as you.” Everyone was cackling, it was fun for them, I guess.

“You’re worthless.”

My hands tightened on my uniform, my eyes were welled up in tears.

“Are you gonna cry?” Kieran stepped closer to me and touched my face with his hands and suddenly pushed me backward, I staggered and loose balance, and fell on my butt.

“Frog!” He laughed.

They were all pointing and tittering at me.

“That’s why nobody likes you!”

I rose from my feet and walked to him.

I glared at him and lift my right hand to his face, I slapped him on his cheek, and his face twitched to the side.

What makes him think he could make me feel as he pleases? He turned with a hand on the spot I hit with a surprised face.

I wasn’t worthless, I’m going to find my mate soon and he’s gonna love me.

I hit him again and tears stream down my cheeks.

 “I hate you, Kieran!” I screamed in his face.

The hall suddenly fell silent.
