Build My Own Empire

Chapter 2

Although Alyssia had said some pretty harsh things before she left, Harrison didn't feel any sense of remorse.

In this life, he had suffered so much thanks to this woman.

Now that God had given him a chance to relive this life again, he naturally would not repeat the same mistakes again.

After closing the door and returning to his room, Harrison took out a notebook and recorded all the strategies he remembered on how to earn money.

In the evening, there was the sound of someone pounding on his door again.

Harrison didn't even need to think to know who was beyond the door.

As expected, when Harrison opened the door, he saw Alyssia, her brother, Willow Howe and their mother, Isha Grant,

Seeing these people before him, Harrison had no intention of letting either of them in.

Isha's face suddenly turned cold. She raised her hand to point directly at Harrison and scolded him coldly, "Harrison, you are such a heartless man. I thought you were honest and kind, so I gave Alyssia the permission to date you. Now you just dump her like this?"

Harrison looked at Alyssia, whose eyes were red with tears, calmly and said indifferently, "She's the one who brought up breaking up. What does that have to do with me?"

"F*ck you, how dare you bully my sister?" Willow pointed at Harrison with an angry face and shouted, "My sister was crying all the way back. Do you think I'm blind? So what if my sister wants some money from you? You're going to marry her anyway, so what's wrong with that?"

"Mom, do you see it now? I told you country bumpkins like him are petty and good for nothing. His parents have been useless all their lives, so what more can we expect from their son?"

"Exactly! How could I have been so blind to allow Alyssia to date you?" Isha pointed at her son and gnashed her teeth, saying, "Willow is right. A stinky farmer like you will never be able to marry someone for the rest of your life."

"But do you think I'll let you dump Alyssia just like that? I'm telling you, you better compensate my daughter three hundred thousand dollars for wasting her youth with you. Otherwise, you will never hear the end of this."

"Haha, you think too much, don't you?" Harrison raised his neck and said confidently, "I don't have any money. All I have is this life of mine."

However, Isha still refused to give up and said, "It's okay if you don't have money. You can sell off your parent's house at your hometown."

"Yes, yes, yes."

Willow nodded in agreement and said, "After selling off your house, your parents can live in the old folks' home. They'll have someone to tend to their every need there, so it'll be easier on them. They wouldn't have to worry about a thing."

Willow continued with a greedy face, "And this house you're living in now, must be transferred to me immediately. I plan to get married at the end of the year, and this will serve as the house I'm living in. If you fulfill both these conditions, I will forgive you for dumping my sister."

As soon as he said that, Isha's eyes lit up.

Her son was in deep trouble. If he didn't compensate the three hundred thousand dollars and marry that girl, he would have to face the court.

But they didn't have a house for him. If Harrison gave him the house, then he'd be all set.

Thinking of this, Isha hurriedly added, "Yes, this house is suited for Willow's wedding."

When Harrison heard this, he was so angry that cackled. "Hahaha! I have never seen such a shameless family. Not only did you ask me to sell off my parent's house, but you also want my house? I think you guys must've gone insane."

"D*mn it, Harrison. I was showing you mercy, can't you see that?"

Willow pointed at Harrison impatiently and shouted, "As long as my mother and I don't agree to the marriage, who would even marry a filthy peasant like you?"

"Besides, now that you're a bachelor, why would you need the house?"

Willow said confidently, "I'm going to get married soon. If I accept this house as a betrothal gift, it's already a sign of me accepting your apology. Wouldn't that make you happy?"

Of course, Alyssia tried to support her brother, "Did you hear that, Harrison? I only have one brother. Shouldn't I help him as a sister?"

"Let's cut the crap, call your parents and sell off their house. Transfer this house to my brother tomorrow morning. I will forgive you and proceed with the marriage if you agree to these two conditions. Otherwise, we are over"

"Haha, we've already ended this relationship. What does my parent's house and this place have to do with you?"

Harrison looked at the family of three and spat with disgust, "Besides, I don't owe your family anything. It's your brother who has taken nearly ten thousand dollars from me ever since we started dating, and he has yet to return me a single penny!"

Harrison pointed in the direction of the elevator and shouted angrily, "Now all of you get out of here. We broke up yesterday. Who do you think you are? How dare you come to me to ask for help? Do you think I, Harrison, am a fool?"

Hearing Harrison's words, Isha was so angry that she started to tremble all over.

Staring at Harrison, she shouted angrily, "Harrison, you ungrateful bastard, you tricked our entire family, didn't you?"

"Harrison, you bastard."

Alyssia pointed at Harrison with a face full of resentment and shouted angrily, "How dare you talk to my mother like this? Kneel down and apologize."

"Don't you remember what you promised me when you first started dating me? Now I only ask of you a small favor, but you're making such a big fuss. Are you even a man?"

"F*ck! Back then, you were like my sister's lapdog. Whenever she beckoned, you would come. Now, you dare talk back to her! You useless piece of sh*t! Your whole family deserves to rot in..."

Before Willow could finish his words, Harrison glared at him coldly and said, "I'll say it again. This is my home. Get out of here right now."

After that, he slammed the door shut.

Isha continued to tremble as the door remained locked in front of her.

While wiping her tears, Alyssia looked at her mother and sobbed, "Mom, you saw it yourself. Harrison truly isn't a man."

Willow clenched his fists, gnashed his teeth, and turned to look at Isha. He asked in a panic, "Mom, what do we do now? If this bastard doesn't sell the house to get me the money, I would really have to go to court. My whole life's going to be ruined.

With this, he stepped forward and shook Isha's arm. "I'm supposed to get married at the end of the year, and I don't even have a house. What should I do?"

Isha looked at the closed door with a face full of anger. She gritted her teeth and said, "What else can we do now? It's all your fault. Why did you have to go rile him up?"

With a sigh, Isha waved her hand and said, "Let's go back first. There will come a time when he'll be begging on our doorsteps,"

Willow shook his head unwillingly and said, "Mom, are we just going to let it go?"

"If he doesn't come begging to us, then what about my wedding? I may have to go to court. Without the money, I'm done for!"
