Royal Grand Hotel.

“Eleni West, do you take Mason Wright to be your lawfully wedded husband?” the priest who presided over the wedding asked.

All eyes locked on me. Beside me, Mason Wright stood tall and handsome, a soft, confident smile playing on his lips. He was the young master of Cloud Sky Group, and everyone in the room thought we were the perfect match.

Today was supposed to be the most glorious day of my life--my wedding day.

But I said nothing. No vow. No answer.

Instead, I lifted a hidden remote and pressed play.

The giant screen behind us flickered alive.

First came Mason’s bare back. Then the frame slid lower--to a woman’s naked spine, her body half-buried in crumpled silk sheets, a cascade of tousled blonde hair spilling across the pillow.

A collective gasp ripped through the crowd.

Mason’s smile died instantly. His face flushed bright red with mortification and rage. He stiffened, his hands tightening hard at his sides, and his head snapped toward me, eyes wild with shock and betrayal.

I met his gaze calmly, every ounce of long-buried agony settled cold and steady in my chest. I’d waited for this moment.

Meanwhile,my younger sister,Amelia West, went deathly pale. Her hand flew to her mouth; her champagne flute slipped from trembling fingers and shattered against the marble floor.

The footage rolled on, merciless and unstoppable.

Mason’s voice cut through the stunned silence, low and urgent. “Stop it, Eleni!”

I didn’t flinch. I simply let the screen do the talking.

And then, the main event arrived - an intimate frontal nude photo of a man and a woman...

Between the entangled limbs on-screen, a discarded tie and a torn garter lay tangled.

The guests stopped breathing and whispers erupted.

After a moment, Amelia screamed, exactly as I’d planned. She covered her face and fled the hall in tears, turning the already shattered wedding into complete chaos.

“Eleni!” Mason’s voice roared, desperate and furious, echoing over the stunned crowd.

Ignoring the inferno in Mason’s eyes, I walked past him with measured steps and stopped before the petrified priest.

I plucked the microphone from his slack hand.

“As everyone can see,” I said, voice flat, almost bored, “I won’t marry him.”

I placed the mic back into his trembling fingers with a grace.

While the room remained frozen in shock, I turned on my heel and walked—not ran—out of the wreckage I’d made.

“Eleni! Stop right there!”

His voice cracked through the hall.

But I didn’t falter.

I wove through the parted crowd, chin high, spine straight, even as my heart twisted so violently I thought it might tear.

This wedding had been my stage, the hidden cameras mine, the script written in my own hand. Even the bridesmaid who’d fled in tears--my sister--had played her part in my carefully orchestrated farce.

Today, I ended it.

At this moment, a tall figure stood up from the crowd, staring at Eleni retreating silhouette.

Something dark and obscure flickered in his deep eyes, as if about to overflow.

The assistant, standing right next to him, asked in a low voice, " Mr Fisher, shall we leave now?"

Logan Fisher raised an eyebrow at him, his lips curling up in a mischievous smile, "The drama is over, do you still want to stay here and enjoy some celebration drinks?"

The assistant shuddered slightly, clearly intimidated by the Logan. He hastily took a step back.

Logan’s gaze stayed fixed on the doors Eleni had just swept through, a slow burn kindling behind his irises.

He had meant to sit through the ceremony with detached indifference--another pointless social obligation, another vapid display of wealth and pretense.

But Eleni West had changed the script. He’d watched her dismantle a empire-backed wedding with surgical precision, her poise unshaken even as she set the room ablaze.

Most women would have crumbled; she hadn’t even blinked.

That kind of controlled ruthlessness… it intrigued him. No--it arrested him.

In that moment, he made his decision. He would find her. And he would make sure she remembered the man who noticed her before anyone else did.

Logan cast one last glance at the chaotic hotel lobby, then turned and strode away.
