NEW YORK
It was almost 5:00 p.m, on this second Monday in May. Jeffrey Adam sat on the couch. He had just finished writing a journal for a famous magazine in New York. Leaning back into the couch, his pensive gaze fixed on the slim tube of lipgloss in his hand as memories of young days filled his mind.
Seven years had passed since Katherine Brown had tried to slip out of Valedictory Service without a farewell to him although he knew why she had tried to leave. And since she left, they kept in touch for more than a year while he was also in school studying. But in November the following year, he couldn't reach her. Her number wasn't going through and he couldn't find her Facebook account anymore.
As Days, Weeks, Months and Years passed, he realized that his heart still belonged to her. He missed her, her smile, her musical laugh, the image of her angelic face with her long hair flowing out beneath her school cap on sport day and the excitement she had brought into his life. That feeling of happiness that relish between them whenever they had been near each other and the fun of being around her. Jeffrey Adams couldn’t deny that he still loved Katherine Brown and he was ready to work on his mission to find the love of his life.
Had Katherine keep up, he would have made every move to convince her for them to see again. He had hardly stopped thinking about Katherine!
Jeffrey stared at the lip gloss as he remembered the kiss they had shared that day, the taste and feel of her in his mouth and he felt his body react to the memories.
He wondered how she was doing right now. And... whom she was with.
On a sudden impulse, he straightened and reached for his laptop deciding that he would search for her in every possible way.
Jeffrey logged on to his Facebook app and click on the search button when it went through. "Katherine Brown.” he typed but the result of the names brought out different persons.
Jeffrey searched for a while before he remembered that Katherine was supposed to be an attorney now. There were many law professional books on her library record.
Jeffrey cracked his knuckles before making a few clicks on his laptop again. "Attorney Katherine Brown.” He typed again.
And Attorney Katherine Brown file showed up first on the laptop screen...He found her! Jeffrey couldn’t help but wonder why this idea hadn’t occur to him for years.
Jeffrey shrugged off the feeling with gladness that at least he had found a way to get through with his greatest love.
