At six o'clock in the early morning, Blue Pigeon Mental Hospital lay immersed in its customary silence.
"I'm not crazy, you can't keep me locked up here!"
Suddenly, a tragic wail pierced through the tightly shut doors of room 103, shattering the peace within.
In the ward, a frail girl dressed in a blue hospital gown sat terrified on the ground. Five meters away from her stood a young lady who wore an expression of disgust, covering her nose as she stepped back.
Despite her disgusted actions, her words were gentle, "Tania Anderson, every madman insists they're sane."
"I am not mad! How can you frame me!" Tania shouted, her voice filled with defiance, her eyes blazing with a mix of fear and fury.
"Tania!" Ethan Hills, Tania's boyfriend called out, his eyes held a shred of heartache as he resisted the urge to comfort her.
At this moment, Tania felt a surge of intense pain! Her uncontrollable tears blurred her vision until she could no longer see anyone.
The hand clutching hers felt as though it could crush her bones, but the pain in her heart hurt even more, riddled with wounds.
"Ethan, believe me," Tania sobbed, clinging to Ethan's pant leg "I don't have a mental disorder! Won't you believe me?"
Ethan crouched down, his patience unwavering as he gently wiped Tania's tears with his fingers, every line of his face bore a pained expression. "Tania, don't be afraid," He reassured her, his touch gentle and comforting. "With the advancements in medical technology we have today, you will definitely get better."
"No, I'm really not insane." Tania insisted, helplessly shaking her head.
"Doctor, her condition seems to be flaring up, perhaps you could help calm her down," Jenna Anderson, Tania's sister suggested though a wicked smile played at the corner of her lips, her eyes brimming with malice.
The doctor's expression turned grim as he and his assistants approached. His assistants held down the raging Tania, while he turned and grabbed a syringe from the table, injecting it directly into her delicate skin.
Tania recoiled in pain, attempting to scramble to her feet, but her legs betrayed her, causing her to collapse limply into the doctor's arms.
"I...I..." Her speech became increasingly strained, as everything in front of her enveloped in a dense fog, making it difficult for her to discern any direction.
Her brain buzzed noisily, and she felt an overwhelming urge to scream, but instead, she was dragged into an endless abyss by an immense force.
"Tania, you’re nothing but an adopted daughter in our Anderson family. Do you think you can compete with me for Ethan? You'd better resign yourself to staying here for the rest of your life," Jenna's cruel whispers echoed in Tania's ear.
"Tania, take good care of yourself. I'll visit you often, okay?" Ethan's voice gradually faded into the distance.
Unable to utter a single word, she couldn't help but express in her heart 'No, don't leave me here. Ethan, why, why don't you trust me?'
In her dazed state, she felt as if someone was undressing her, piece by piece. Her body was burning, unable to muster even a bit of strength.
"Doctor Clark, what are you doing?" the doctor's assistant asked, seeing his unsettling actions with Tania.
"What do you mean, what am I doing? Such a beauty should not be wasted. Besides, she's mad. No one will believe her words. Stop gawking and join in!" he said, his tone laced with a disturbing mix of arrogance and disregard.
A black Maybach came to a steady stop in front of Blue Pigeon Mental Hospital. With a smooth motion, the car door swung open, revealing a man dressed in a sharply tailored black suit that exuded an air of sophistication and authority.
Under the bright sunlight, the tall and striking figure of the man came into view. His meticulously tailored black suit accentuated his muscular frame, exuding confidence with each step. His features appeared as though sculpted by an artist, remarkably three-dimensional and impeccably attractive.
For five years, he had searched desperately for Tania, who now resided in this hospital. Who had the audacity to send her to a psychiatric hospital? The information he had obtained from his investigation indicated that she had always been in good health.
Unable to hold back the urgency in his heart, Jason Moore strode directly into the hospital, pushing open the ward door. However, as he caught sight of the scene within, the flame in his eyes was promptly extinguished, replaced by bone-chilling cold.
Tania lay on the bed, her weakened form struggling against the restraint of Clark and his assistant standing over her, their hands hovering over her, poised to touch. It was a sight that ignited his fury like a spark.
