As soon as her eyes open and sees nothing but darkness, she's already aware of the danger that lay ahead. Tied hands and wet clothes make her shiver even more. Silently uttering help, afraid to make a noise that can trigger those bad guys' madness. Her tears keep on falling.

This cruelty that's happening at the moment was too unfair for people like her. She's too young to experience this and nobody deserved to be in her shoe right now. She knows that she can't do anything, but pray and hope that her prayer will be heard right away.

"Wow! What a beautiful sight we have here."

A loud voice boomed coming from the outside of the room as the five boys, not too older than her—entered. One of them was holding a box of cigarettes, rope, and a knife, not to mention the drugs inside his pocket. They look like a minor, too young to do something horrible. But then again, some of the kids these days, lost their way to the right path because of the influence of drugs, bad influence peers, and ill surroundings especially when no one is guiding them.

"Lower your voice, you might scare them," the one who's wearing a black shirt warned with his fake concerns and then roared with laughter.

The girl was surprised to know that she's not the only captive, it may sound selfish, but her fear loosens a bit, making her system relaxed, knowing that she's not alone in this battle.

She groped around despite being debilitated; blocked by the darkness, does not stop her from making a move until her hands touched someone's feet. The thought of touching the feet of one of those bad guys frightened her. There's only one way to find out. She bravely touched the feet again and lightly squeezed them, to her shock, someone leaned over and spoke in a whisper, enough volume in her ear to reach it.

"What are you doing?"

A boy! Her instinct was right, there is someone beside her in this room.

"I'm afraid. I badly want to get out of here!" She uttered with no sound at all.

She lost her voice a while ago because of the trauma. She's tired of crying, the fact that her tears can't save her from this cruelty. She needs to be brave to fight for her life. But she can't do that alone, she's too weak. She needs someone who is stronger and braver, for them to escape.

"I'm here! I'm not gonna let them harm you," a soothing voice echoed to her eardrum, giving comfort to her.

Those words gave her strength and his body temperature around her gives warms to her chills. For a moment, she was in a safe place—in his arms. Then her parents appeared in her mind, they're probably worried right now, the fact that she's been missing for a while now. They will surely look for her, so she needs to stay alive for her family, waiting for her to come back.

A scream invaded their silence, it came from the other room, the reason for her fear to rise again. Her tears were starting to fall and they escaped when the boy detached his body from her. She wants to complain, but her voice didn't know how to find a word, instead, she spread her hand and search for him once again. Her body froze for a moment when she heard a whistle, near her. She certainly hears danger that's coming and it's in front of her.

She was right when someone touches her legs sensually. She wiggled but it's a wrong move because the touch went higher—to her private part. She's disgusted! She feels dirty all of a sudden. If only she can smack her head to him, kick his sensitive part, and slap him hard until he lost his consciousness, but she doesn't have enough strength to do that. If only she can. But making a move won't do any good for her safety. It will just make the situation worse and make her life at risk even more.

Suddenly, a strong voice restrained the pervert's hand to touch her more.

"Give this girl to me. Let me handle her," another guy came in and spoke with authority. She suddenly missed her strict but loving father's presence.

"But I like her," the pervert opposed, touching her again and this time on her shoulder blade.

She flinched at his touch.

'Disgusting!' she said at the back of her mind. She feels like vomiting.

"She's mine!" the guy shouted with possessiveness and displeasure. He's owning her like she's just a random food that can be bought on the market and can be owned by anyone.

"Too possessive. Okay! Okay, she's yours, but before that, can I ask some energizer 'cause I feel exhausted right now. Give me some then after that you can have her fully."

The guy looks pissed and uncertain. He doesn't trust him, even though they're friends, especially in his state right now. But despite having a doubt, he left the room to follow his order. He stopped midway and gave him a warning.

"What? Don't worry, I won't do something nasty," said the pervert with assurance—putting his hands in the air, like surrendering himself to the authorities in front of him.

Nobody should trust anyone's words because the moment the guy left the room, he started to make a move on her again.

"I really like you. If I can't have you then let me play with you while still there a chance. Let's do some foreplay," he said with a sense of danger.

"Drag the boy to the next room, then leave us alone."

'What they will gonna do that boy? No! Help me! Help us! Mommy! Daddy! Can you hear me? I need you! I'm terrified!' Her mind was shouting, hoping her pleas to be heard.

She's starting to squirm her body wildly when the pervert's hand started to unzip her dress at the back. She can hear the laughter outside. 'They're gross! May their soul rot in hell! May their body stuck in the water full of Piranha.' She wanted to shout so bad, but her voice still didn't find its sound.

Moments later, her scream finally invaded the room when a cigarette kissed her naked back. An excruciating pain penetrated through her skin as soft as silk, inflicting damage to her back. Extreme pain arises, even more, when another cigarette touched her back, not just a simple touch, but a rub, not just twice but many times that her mind lost its count.

She could die from this, but fortunately, her breathing didn't lose its oxygen. She keeps crying, begging to spare her life 'cause she still wanted to live—to see her family, her friends, classmates and she wants to know the boy who comforted her a while ago, so she can't be dead.

Her hard breathing was a beautiful sight for this disgusting creature. He's definitely high under the influence of drugs, that even his friends can't stop him from harming this innocent girl. And It's too late for this other guy who came back just now—holding a bottle, to keep this poor girl away from danger, from his lunatic friend.

Seeing the girl's situation, made his anger boil in an instant. He can't believe that his friend did this. This wasn't the plan, he can't imagine himself harming someone. Yes, he's not a saint, but not evil either to do something like this.

Without any doubt, he hit his friend's head with a bottle—the one he was holding earlier, causing his friend to lose its balance and lost its consciousness.

The blindfold was still blocking the girl's sights, but it's better that way so she can't see the brutality of her surroundings. She's not aware of what's happening in the room after the pervert abused her.

Someone was carrying her on a piggyback ride. She's still trembling because of fear and the inflicting pain her back's carrying. Her tears had run dry due to excessively crying a while ago. She felt secure once again, but not the same feeling when he hugged her. Oddly, it feels like this person who's carrying her was not the same person who hugged her earlier.

"Who are you?" she asked in his ear with a cracked voice. But the boy didn't reply, instead, he put her on the ground, assisting her to sit, still with her blindfold on. A minute passed when she felt a cold thing around her neck. The boy puts his necklace to her—a personalized necklace with a pendant small as five centavo coin.

"We'll meet soon," he then whispered.

I closed the crime book I read earlier when I finished the whole chapter and made my way to the cafeteria and order something far from my usual order—a Coffee. I actually didn't like drinking coffee as most everyone wants, but I need it right now 'cause I felt sleepy and I still have to study about 'Personality Theories' for our exam tomorrow morning

"One black coffee under the name of Frei."

I waved my hands, rushing myself towards the counter, excited to taste the coffee for the second time around. I was about to get it when someone snatched it from the barista—a man wearing a cheerleading outfit.

His forehead knotted when he looked at the name written on the plastic cup. I really thought he would give it to me when he realized that the coffee wasn't his. I even handed my hand in front of him, but he just stared at it for a second, and then took a sip.

"I thought I heard black forest. I realized forest and coffee are pronounced differently. But then, I heard him calling my name. Your name and my name almost sound the same. Pree, short for Preedator."
