Monica Stock looked at the man in front of her dazedly.
At this moment, if she had to fall into hell with him, she was willing to do it.
And he seemed to her well. He always performed more indulgent at this moment, letting her enjoy his charming expression to her heart's content, and then hugged her tightly.
Sometimes, Monica was so confused. He always looked gentle and a bit cold in front of others. However, on the bed, he would become ferocious.
After getting out of bed, his alluring side disappeared in an instant. He was calm, self-restraint and reserved again, showing a completely different temperament.
Another night was over.
Monica had hardly slept, but she got up early in the morning.
The man beside her was awakened by her. With misty eyes, he was in the most unguarded moment. He asked in a hazy voice, "Why are you up so early? Do you have classes?"
"No." She yawned, glanced at him with malcontent eyes, and said in a very unhappy tone, "Some kind of leaders of the government will inspect our school today, and we must treat him seriously."
As she got out of bed and walked into the bathroom, she didn't forget to express her very uncomfortable feeling, "He must be a boring man. Why should he go to our school?"
When she walked out of the bathroom, the man on the bed had already woken up. He leaned back against the headboard, making a phone call.
"OK. Pick me up in 15 minutes." he said.
Monica puckered her lips, feeling unfair.
Each part of her body was still sore while he was in good spirits.
She had to cram into a bus while he had a driver to pick him up. Why?
...
Country H, City A.
Monica had been so sleepy this morning. Standing in a group of schoolmates, she looked at the leaders who had been surrounded and especially wondered why the one in the middle was so energetic?
Since she was not an important role, Monica quietly moved backward, intending to have a short rest.
"Is that student leaning feeling unwell?" someone asked.
His sudden care frightened Monica, who was still in a daze. Everyone swiftly looked at her.
Howard Tilden always appeared an unsmiling man in front of the crowd. At this moment, he remained very reserved. However, Monica could clearly catch a tinge of cunning smile in his eyes.
She groused about him secretly. He seemed to be in a good mood today, otherwise, why would he play tricks on her in front of so many people?
"Miss, Mr. Tilden is asking you. Why don't you answer?" The principal wore functional on his face, with few black hair on his head symbolically covering the balding area. Maybe a gust of wind would come and blow away his few hair, exposing his shiny head.
Then she gave a little cough, believing it would be better for her to fake sickness since she had been thought this. "Mr. Tilden, Mr. President, I am sorry. I had a nightmare last night. I dreamed that a wolf ate me, and I was eaten over and over again. After I woke up, I was still a little frightened."
Monica's face was properly filled with fear and uneasiness. She swept her eyes over the "wolf" that showed calm. It was evident that he was very satisfied with the big "meal".
The principal was obviously very surprised. Monica bet that the old man was unhappy with her frank reply.
"Ha ha, Mr. Tilden, our school's students are all interesting!" Smiling awkwardly and observing the leader, the principal did not know what the young deputy mayor would say.
Howard's lips slightly curved, and then his gentle voice came out, "What you contemplate during the day will become your dream at night. Dear miss, I suggest next time you dream of that wolf, you can fight back and eat it instead! Besides, the physical quality of the students now is not good enough. You need to exercise more so that you can outrun the wolf chasing you!"
"Good point! Young people should exercise more to have a strong physique to face the competitive society outside campus." The principal quickly applauded and went along with Howard's words, considering the youngest mayor of the city an extraordinary talent.
Monica lowered his head and didn't say anything. No one saw that her face was pale.
"Eat the wolf?" she thought.
In fact, she had tried it, but the result was that she was "eaten up" again. And she had been lying in bed for a whole day at a cost.
Her experience was a lesson. If you want to eat a wolf, the consequence was often that you would be eaten by the wolf.
When they were about to walk out of the library, Mr. Tilden abruptly turned around and asked, "What's the name of the student?"
"Monica Stock," someone answered.
"Monica Stock--" The leader muttered her name. While Monica was wondering why he asked the question, he suddenly said, "Miss Stock, I hope you can show some courage when you dream of the wolf tonight!"
Monica was speechless.
"Once more? I'm so scared!" she said to herself.
