Rori-Pov

My shoes splashed against the puddle as i run to the back of the school as fast as i can. I can hear them following me from behind in a short distance.

If i can get to the back door of the gym, then i know i will be safe at least for a couple of minutes before class.

I can see the door leading to the gym when i slip and fail face first on the hard ground.

"uff...This b*tch is fast." One of them commented as they slowed down.

I tried to get back to my feet but they are already surrounding me. I push off of the ground but a boot to my chest throws me back down.

Luck, Jammy, Adreaya and Lucy are the biggest assholes to ever exist in our pack if not the entire world and i am their personal punching bag.

They are bunch of ass hats who get off by hurting people who are less capable than they are. As thiny, weak and hated as i am, i was the best candidate to help blow their steams off.

Their collective laugh disturbed me as i struggled holding my chest. I might not have a wolf but i can heal. Even so, their kicks and slaps take longer that others to feel better.

I can feel them stepping closer to me. With one hand still clenching my chest, i used the other to pull myself away from them but i know they love it when i cower. They love to show their dominance on me and anyone who would lay back and take it.

I could scream but i know not a single soul would come to save me from the cluches of this bully wolves that have tormented me most of my life at this hour.

My heart starts to drum through my ears, making it impossible to hear other that its very own beat. I can feel my breath going shallow and salty sweat dripping down my back as i know what is going to come next.

They always love doing this. And if i am lucky today, they will get bored with in an hour and leave me to lick my wounds by myself.

Lucy stepped closer and entaggled her thin fingers through my blond hair and dragged me up to my knees. A scream rips out of my throat just to recive a bitch slap right on my mouth.

A gasp escaps as i tried to reach for my lips but Adreaya was there to hold my hands to my back. I can taste blood on my lips as i tried and failed to get control of my arms. Now, on my knees with my hands behind my back and my hair pulled up, i can tell how vulnerable i am to them.

It has always been like this, the girls would start their fun and the guys would finish and they never pull their punchs at all.

I whimpered as Lucy pulled my head back too far that it made it hard for me to breath and exposed my neck to them, which is the worse position to be infront of bunch of wolves who want to hurt you.

"Look what we have here."

A deep voice made all of them pause and turn to the man who spoke.

Adalwolf Czar, the future Alpha. Shit.

I heard one of my attacker chuckle as the other one spoke "want to join in the fun?" He asked Adalwolf.

"Nah...i'm thinking you guys had enough fun. It's time for me to have a little fun on my own."

From how Lucy has my head bent backwards, i can't see him but i can almost hear that devil envious smirk he always wears when shit's about to go down.

"Oh come on Adalwolf, we never get to see you play. Let's join you just for today." Adreaya commented as she twisted my hands further back, making me whimper in pain.

"I don't share." Adalwolf said before he realised his aura. As much as i was almost human, i wasn't affected by it but the rest looked like they were about to pop. Soon, Adreaya lets me go and Lucy roughly pushed me back to the ground.

"Enjoy. And leave some for the rest of us." I gulped big at Lucys' comment as she glared at me.

Now that i'm finally down, i can see him slowly stalking towards me as the others moved out of his way.

He is wearing his usual leather jacket over a plain gray t-shirt and black jeans with his giant combat boots.

His handsom face is completely painted with utter indifference yet his aura said he was about to kill somebody.

As soon as he is infront of me, he slowly goes down on one knee and grabs my left leg right at my anckle. He pulls me closer and i yelped when i heard more laughter slowly drift away as the four left me behind with our future alpha.

I finally looked at his face and caught him glaring at me and i couldn't help but shrug my shoulders. Adalwolf holds my leg up before shaking his head.

"How many times do i have to tell you to tie your damn shoes." I looked down to see that my shoe laces were infact untiled. "If you have a single bone in you that listens, maybe you would have tied your shoes and you wouldn't have tripped on them."

"I didn't trip. I slipped." I held my argument but found myself at the reciving end of a hard flick on the forhead.

"You tripped."

He simply comments as he tied my shoe real tight.

"That's too tight." I grumbled.

"Tough. Maybe next time you'll pay more attention to yourself."

"I had it handled." I sound like an ungrearful brat but i can't stop myself.

"Is that so? I bet that boot mark on your shirt would say other wise though."

I couldn't help but pout as he looked at my face. He sighed and reached out to touch the corner of my lips. Adalwolf frowned as i winched before shaking his head.

"Come on, let's get you out of here." He whispered and pat the shoe mark off the front of my shirt before helping me up to my feet. His frown was still in place as he helped me to his car.

The drive to our spot was as quite as it always is whenever he has to find me getting my ass handed to me and he has to pretend like he would love to finish the job.

Even though people think he is just one of my bullies and the one who always sends me to the hospital, he has always been my best friend and my rock to lean on whenever i needed him. And i know he hates pretending like he is beating me up but he always comes through to save me as much as he can.

When the car stopped, Adalwolf climbs out without even waiting for me and makes his way to our bench.

With a sigh, i followed him from behind. With the tall grass brushing against my legs, i made my way towards the bench Adla had once brought here as a hangout spot for the two of us.

Sitting next to a grumppy wolf is never a pleasant thing as he constantly scoffed or growled once in a while.

"What were you thinking running to the back of the school? That's like basically begging them to beat you up."

He grumbled again and i look down at my hands on my lap. The spot where Adreaya held me was turning red and a little swollen.

"I though if i could get to the gym..."

"Well you though wrong." He cutts me off "Goddess help me if i don't kick your ass myself one of these days." He runs his fingers through his coal black hair and turned to look at me.

He reached out towards my hands and examined them one by one before running his thumbs side to side over the red finger marks to make me feel better.

"Sorry."

I whispered as i am painfully aware that i am making his life harder everyday. Adalwolf looks up to meet my eyes and he sighed again. He lets go of my hands and opened his arm.

"Come on. Get in here." He said and rolled his eyes as i immideatly snuggled at his side. He tuckes me closer and kissed the top of my head before resting his cheek against the spot he kissed.

"Don't worry about it." He whispered in a low voice. "I'm always here for you...but you know the drill, you are going to have to hide for a couple of days."

"Why do i always have to hide for days after you take me away?" I asked.

"If we want them to believe that i'm kicking your ass, then they will think you will need a few days to heal. Not only are you wolfless, my punches are well know to break a bone or two. Just consider this as a vacation."

"Then i have been having too many vacations lately." I commented with my signiture pout.

Adalwolf chuckles before holding my pity figure thighter.

"Don't worry. I'll always protect you."

"What would i ever do without you?" I whispered as i closed my eyes. It took Adalwolf a couple of seconds to answer.

"Let's never find out."
