In this era teeming with university students and PhD candidates, which university dares to claim that it cultivates the pride of the heavens, the pillars of the nation?

In the eyes of most people, students from a few well-known institutions in China like Tsinghua University, Beijing University, Zhejiang University, Fudan University, may fit the description of being the pride of the heavens. As far as ordinary people are concerned, their children being admitted to a prestigious university is undoubtedly a joyful event worth boasting about.

Admittance to university, topping the examinations...

Yangpu District, Shanghai.

A black BMW slowly makes its way towards Fudan University. A extraordinarily beautiful girl inside the car rests her chin on her hand, watching the scenery outside with interest, blinking her bright eyes while muttering something indiscernibly.

"Shanghai isn't much better than Nanjing. Apart from being more bustling and populated, I really don't see anything too special about it. It's boring, not fun at all." The girl sighed, leaning back in her seat.

"Ah, you crazy girl, all you ever think about is fun. Shanghai is an international metropolis, a financial hub. How can you compare Nanjing and Shanghai?" said a young man in the passenger seat lazily. Running through his handsome face was a sense of worldly indifference. His narrow eyes slightly squinted, his tone playful, "But to be honest, I do feel more comfortable in Nanjing."

"Oh? Chen Ping, have you gotten addicted to acting like a pampered young master in Nanjing? Should I give your father a call and let him know?" A woman in the back seat laughed, her red lipstick strikingly vibrant.

This was a woman whose age could not be clearly determined. She had the attractive face of somebody in their twenties, the mature aura of someone in their thirties, and the time-weathered eyes of a woman in her forties. Meeting her, you can't help but admit that some women have indeed triumphed over time, becoming more aged and rich like fine wine rather than fading with age.

The young man immediately shrank back, laughing nervously, "Mrs. Huangfu, don't scare me, I don't think I could handle it. If you call that upstart and tattle on me, and he decides to mess with me, I might let loose about those things you helped him with in Chongqing last time..."

"The young man is becoming bold, threatening me now?" Mrs. Huangfu raised an elegant eyebrow and commanded, "Meng Chong."

The driver attentively driving up front responded, "Boss, you called?"

His voice was soft and delicate. It was hard to believe that such a strong, burly man could have such a tender voice.

"When we get out, teach Chen Ping a lesson for me. He doesn't seem to know his place, even daring to threaten me," Mrs. Huangfu said with a soft laugh.

"Hehe, alright." The driver chuckled in his gentle voice. His delicate voice paired with his tall and sturdy figure was quite an odd sight. He rubbed his bald head, turning to glance at Chen Ping in the passenger seat with an expression that said 'you're doomed'. On his bald head, a tattoo of a red lotus flashing in a staggering way.

"Hehe, Yeah, let's deal with him right at the front gate of Fudan University. He even told me yesterday that he came here primarily to save the beauties of Fudan, and studies were secondary. Let's just let him make a fool of himself first," a girl in the back row suggested mischievously, giggling in delight.

The co-pilot, Chen Ping, was immediately flustered. "Chen An, give me back that piece of oracle bone script you made me steal from dad's study the day before yesterday. That's too low of you, bribing me and then betraying me."

"Brother, you can't blame me. You’re the one who threatened Mrs. Huangfu, I merely put forth a feasible proposal, that's all." Chen An chuckled like a cunning little fox, his eyes narrowed slightly, his whole body exuding an enigmatic, foxy charm, like a little demon.

The woman named Huangfu stood there staring at Chen An in surprise, and suddenly said, "Xiao Man, you really are so much like your mother."

In front, the driver called Meng Chong, gripped the steering wheel tighter.

The car fell silent.

The woman named Huangfu traced up a self-deprecating smile. This competitive woman, known as the black widow of Shanghai and even the whole southern region because of her intimidative presence, admitted, only when mentioning that woman named Cao Jianjia, her single defeat in her lifetime.

"Chen Ping, although Fudan is a university, in a certain sense, it's also a royal school. There are definitely many people with a background there. No one there can oppress you, but some people, if provoked, can cause some trouble. The less the troubles, the better. It is better to be lowkey at school, not too dominant."

Chen Ping chuckled and nodded. "Aunt Huangfu, I understand. A five-virtue socialist youth like me doesn't look like a troublemaker at all."

"That’s good. Shanghai is different from Jiangsu. Even though your surname is Chen, and your family is influential, you cannot monopolize Shanghai. At least, the Nalan Jingwei clan from the Northeast has always been in conflict with your father. Though we can suppress them, it's impossible to eliminate them."

Nalan Jingwei? Chen Ping silently noted down this name, his eyes flashing a mysterious light, said, "I understand."

"Alright, we're at the school now. You can get off, and don't cause too much trouble." Huangfu Weiyu said with a smile.

"Okay, Aunt Huangfu, goodbye." Chen An obediently said, being the first one to get off the car.

Chen Ping hesitated for a moment, seemingly wanting to say something.

"Do you have any other questions?" Huangfu Weiyu asked with a faint smile.

In the end, Chen Ping laughed cheekily and said, "I just want to know if Uncle Meng still wants to deal with me, don't play ambush on me later...."

"Get out of the car." Before Chen Ping finished speaking, Huangfu Weiyu laughed and scolded, and Meng Chong even raised a leg, wanting to kick him off directly.

Chen Ping laughed and got out of the car, carrying a suitcase, leisurely heading toward the school gate.

"What are you thinking?" Chen Ping walked up to Chen An, who was staring spellbound at the four characters 'Fudan University' above the school gate.

"Fudan University. This is a prestigious school. Brother, are we considered successful now?"

Chen Ping chuckled and patted his sister's head, "Of course not. We will only be able to say that when we can help alleviate some of our home's nouveau riche's responsibilities."

Chen An nodded heavily.

"Xiao Man, do you remember what dad said to us before he came?" Chen Ping looked at his sister, a strange look suddenly appeared on his handsome face, as if he was trying hard to hold back his laughter.

Chen An's beautiful face instantly displayed an expression similar to her brother Chen Ping's. Then, the brother and sister pair stood at the bustling school gate, and in perfect unison they loudly exclaimed: "Study hard and make progress every day!"

At these words, they drew numerous looks. The instigators of the whole scene laughed and ran into the school gate.
