"Prefer to die in unity than live alone, yearning to be in love like mandarin ducks rather than envying immortals.
Such love is indeed admirable. I wonder, if one day I, Sue Rui, encounter such passionate love, what would I do?"
Dressed in her newly changed white gauze princess dress, Sue Rui strolled along the corridor, a dreamy smile on her cute face. She was pondering this line of poetry she had just seen on the big screen outside the hotel.
Suddenly, a rush of footsteps sounded from behind her in the corridor. Startled, Sue stopped and listened. The sound progressively became closer, directed towards her. Just when she was about to turn around to look, a strong gust of wind blew by her ear. Before she could make out what was happening, her mouth was immediately covered by a strong hand.
"Uh..." Sue Rui's eyes widened.
Abruptly, an arm snaked around her waist pulling her deeper into the corridor. She struggled, but her strength was pitiful in the face of this crazy man.
With one arm around Sue's waist, the man held her petite frame against his robust chest, while his other hand covered her mouth. If you didn't see the panic on Sue Rui's face, you would think they were lovers, huddled close in such a manner.
Cool and resolute, the man lead Sue Rui to take a turn into a relatively short passage, with a room on either side - the hotel's VIP rooms. He swiftly spun her around, and roughly pinned her against the wall.
Bumped by the impact, Sue whimpered in pain and struggle. Her eyes widened, looking at the man who was close enough to touch. Half-lidding his deep, narrow eyes, he stared at her. His resolute nose and calm, warm breath occasionally brushed her face.
The man bent his head, effectually hiding his mouth from Sue's view. However, as her frightened eyes scanned his striking features, she admitted to herself that he was rather handsome.
Covering Sue Rui's mouth, the man gazed at her peachy face as if he was staring at a just-ripened litchi. This momentarily stunned him. A devilish smile bloomed at the corners of his mouth, admiring the young beauty.
Her eyes, black and white in stark contrast, echoed her terror. They were as clear as black crystal, with her eyebrows arched like willow leaves - a beauty that seemed a little unreal.
Sue Rui shuddered at his flow of actions, immediately tensing her body. She glared at the man, her eyes flashing with the fierceness of a wild kitten.
Amused, the man smirked. The very next second, he pressed himself against Sue Rui like a beast, his hot breath tickling her ear lobe. He threatened in a low voice, "Cooperate with me, or I will kill you right here and now!"
His voice, rich and resonant like a well-aged red wine, carried a hint of murderous intent. Sue Rui shuddered. Her petite body involuntarily started to tremble. Kill? Her mind suddenly flashed with scenes from TV shows of heart-wrenching brutality causing her to instinctively struggle against the man, trying to escape his grasp.
But immediately, she calmed down from her writhing state, because she could feel the iciness and sharpness pressed against her chest. Even through her thin clothing, she could sense the sharpness of metal, enough to pierce her heart.
Leng Yi idly spun the dagger he held, wickedly scraping it against the area where Su Rui's heart was located. "Don't doubt my skills; if I were to stab down, I guarantee that it will pierce through and it won't be overly painful for you..."
Su Rui’s breath hitched, and before she had any time to express her astonishment, the man had already bent down his head...
His soft lips, the tender sensations, the unripe floral fragrance that overflowed in between their mouths numbed Leng Yi's lips. A nefarious heat instantly travelled through his body, causing him to feel warm all over. Even after fooling around with women for many years, he hadn't encountered someone this gentle before.
Tears welled up in Su Rui's eyes due to her panic. She wanted to escape; she wanted to resist; however, the sight of the swaying knife at her chest made her freeze stiff in fear. She had no voice to resist and could only shed tears while allowing the man to act as he pleased.
Su Rui was so scared that tears gushed out like a stream, yet she dared not utter a single word.
At this moment, the sound of disheveled footsteps hurried towards them and stopped at the entrance of the corridor. A group of guys paused as they exchanged glances amongst themselves. Endeavoring to keep a straight face, they stared at the passionate scene unfolding in front of them. There was a man holding a petite woman, passionately kissing her, their bodies intimately pressed against each other. Notably, the woman's slender leg circling the man's waist was quite the sight, which was enough to make anyone swallow in desire. One of the men remarked, ‘Walk away and check that side.' Then, the sound of hurried footsteps fading away could be heard.
As soon as there were no sounds in the vicinity, Leng Yi reluctantly stopped the kiss and put the knife away. His dark gaze flitted with desire. Looking at the woman's lips, flushed by his kisses he charmingly murmured, "You taste so sweet. Would you like to be my lover?" His deep voice was a little husky from all the passion.
Su Rui was startled by his question, her heart went cold. She quickly moved herself out of his embrace, biting her swollen lips that had been kissed by him, hastily wiping away the tears on her face with the back of her hand.
She felt insulted by his proposition to make her his lover. She lifted her head to glare at the man. Her eyes sparkled with unshed tears as she lowered them again, showcasing a sense of vulnerability and fear. Imitating a look of disdain, she said, "You're too small for me. I'm not interested."
After saying that, Su Rui turned and found that the room door was not latched properly. She pushed it open and entered, then immediately locked the door from inside. She slid to the floor, leaning against the door out of fear.
Leng Yi was stunned. What!? Too small? Was she talking about his member size? Even by western standards, he was far from small!
However, by the time he snapped out of his stupor, the woman had already hidden herself behind the closed door. Leng Yi's eyes dimmed, a ghostly smile tugging at the corner of his mouth, "Well...this is interesting."
