Breslin Amos stood in the middle of the hall in a white wedding dress. She looked around this strange and shocking environment. An ironic smile appeared on her face.
A sweep of chilly air passed by, blowing away her warmth. Her curly hair billowed with the breezes.
Salty tears burst out of her eyes and flowed along her cheeks into her mouth.
Everyone told her the most beautiful moment in a woman's life was the short day when she was dressed in wedding clothes. Today, however, no one appreciated her beauty.
Her tears flowed down like a broken line of beads. She looked all around helplessly. Everything was so empty and cold. She could not feel any happiness. At this moment, the solemn church seemed to laugh at her wedding.
"Ah!!!" She ran her fingers through her hair painfully. Except for herself and the cold air, there was no wedding banquet, guests, or even groom at her wedding.
Although she had expected this result, she couldn't help but feel sad in this empty church. This wedding deeply hurt her self-esteem.
The man who she had never met before was cold to her. He didn't attend the wedding. Was he going to psych her out or warn her?
Her red eyes looked dully ahead. She cried, "Is it my fault? I'm just trying to save my parents. Why did he insult me like this? Why?"
She sat feebly on the ground and buried her head in her arms.
Suddenly, a pair of feet in black shoes appeared in her eyes.
She looked up in horror. When she saw this handsome man in front of her, she shivered.
His face and eyes were filled with ice-cold.
The man squatted down, and then he squeezed her chin. He stared at her playfully. When he saw her frightened and pitiful eyes, there was a flash of anger in her eyes, and he couldn't help but increase his strength.
Breslin cried out in pain. "Who is this man? Why is he here? Why does he look at me like that?" She thought.
"Breslin, do you still dare to stand here? I would have run for my life long ago if I were you. I would never stand here like a fool!" His cold voice re-echoed through the church.
