"Logan... where are you? It hurts so much..."

"Logan... please come save me... I can’t hold on any longer..."

Isla Hale was bound with cold iron chains. Her hair was messy, and her clothes were tattered.

Her face was pale and twisted in agony, her skin marred by deep wounds,

with two lines of blood-stained tears trailing down her cheeks.

The scene abruptly cut off.

Several men gripped the chains and dragged her away into the darkness as if they were hauling a lifeless body.

A minute earlier, Logan Hale's phone had buzzed with a disturbing video message.

"Isla!"

Logan’s pupils constricted as he stared at the screen in disbelief. The girl in the video, his sister, was being brutally tortured.

This was somewhere along the Southern Frontier, near Raven’s Peak, a place covered in cold, unforgiving terrain.

Logan was the Dragon Lord appointed by the Kingdom of Eldoria.

He stood as a figure at the pinnacle of power.

Three days ago, an urgent report had come in. The world’s most notorious secret organization, the Crimson Veil, had allied with forces from nine other nations and gathered millions of soldiers in an attempt to invade the Southern Frontier of Eldoria.

Furious, Logan led the Four Sentinels, the Twelve Earthbound Knights, and three thousand elite warriors in a surprise attack.

In just half an hour, the unstoppable Crimson Veil was obliterated.

Nearly one hundred thousand members were wiped out.

The Northern Raven’s Peak was littered with corpses and running with blood.

The forces from the nine other nations scrambled to retreat cowardly upon hearing the news.

But never in his wildest dreams did Logan imagine receiving such a horrifying message right after the battle.

"Ah!"

His roar was filled with monstrous rage and uncontrollable violence, radiating from his body like a force of nature.

His sister, his beloved sister! Logan hadn't seen her in five years!

While he fought for his country and shed blood on the battlefield, his sister suffered unspeakable torment.

This was unfair!

This was f*cking unfair!

Logan vividly remembered five years ago when he was the rightful heir to the Hale family, one of the four great families in the capital.

But his uncle was hungry for power and led a group of masked mercenaries to attack their home. They slaughtered everyone, old and young, men and women alike without mercy.

Logan had awoken to the horrific sight of blood and corpses everywhere.

Their father hurriedly hid Logan and Isla in a secret room amid the chaos. When they emerged, they found their father’s lifeless body hanging from a beam in the ceiling.

27 times!

His father was stabbed 27 times, with a dagger still lodged in his chest.

His eyes were wide open and filled with fury and antagonism when he died.

Logan's father died with unresolved grievances.

He seemingly used his death to urge Logan, "Avenge me!"

Though Logan, then just twelve years old, was consumed with anger. However, he knew he wasn’t strong enough to face his uncle.

So he fled.

His heart was heavy with hatred, with his seven-year-old sister in tow.

They managed to find refuge in the quiet town of Westhaven, where they depended on each other to survive.

With the guidance of a kind soul, Logan went to college and fell in love with a woman named Alana Winters. After graduation, they lived together.

Only when the Winters family confronted him did Logan learn that Alana was the cherished daughter of a wealthy and influential family.

They looked down on Logan, treating him as no better than an animal. Alana despised her family's snobbery and often fought with them, but nothing could change their attitude, leaving her in tears most nights.

Logan had longed to leave and seek revenge.

But he lacked the strength and was held back by Alana’s deep affection for him. So, he endured the humiliation, biding his time.

Soon, the Southern Frontier conflict erupted, and Logan seized the chance. When Westhaven began recruiting soldiers, Logan joined the army, hoping to gain the power he needed to avenge his father.

Five years of military service transformed Logan into Eldoria’s youngest and only Five-Star General, earning him the title of Dragon Lord and the duty of defending the southern borders.

Before this latest battle, he had sent people to investigate his family's massacre, hoping that after wiping out the Crimson Veil, he could retire, protect his sister, marry Alana, and finally return to the capital to seek justice.

But things didn't go as planned...

"You guys have one minute to find this place!"

Logan stared at the video with veins bulging on his forehead. His eyes were bloodshot with rage. "Whoever dared to harm my sister...will rot in hell!"

No one dared to defy the Dragon Lord of Eldoria.

Especially not when it concerned his sister, the dearest family of the Dragon Lord’s Army!

Insulting Isla was akin to insulting the entire army.

As soon as he saw the video, Sentinel Armstrong began tracking the source. The response came quickly. "The video was traced to an abandoned warehouse in Blackridge."

"Prepare the car. I'm heading to Blackridge!"

Within a minute, the Hummer sped toward Blackridge like lightning.

"Head to Blackridge, capture the one who harmed the Dragon Lord’s sister, and kill them without exception!"

Behind Logan were the Four Sentinels, the Twelve Earthbound Knights, and three thousand soldiers. Blood still stained their clothes, but they didn't care. Their destination was Blackridge, where Isla was being held captive.

Logan had dedicated his life to protecting his country, yet his sister had suffered inhuman treatment.

The Dragon Lord’s Army had defended millions but failed to protect their family.

Logan's heart bled, and his fury ignited.

He vowed to find the one who humiliated his sister and make them pay.

A grueling eighteen-hour drive later...

The sky was beginning to brighten as they neared the city gates of Blackridge. Logan’s lips curled into a smirk. "Charge through... anyone who stands in our way dies!"

Pedestrians on the road squinted in disbelief as the convoy thundered closer.

Boom!

The city gates were shattered by an armored vehicle. The Hummer, leading the charge, sped into the city.

Hundreds of cars followed.

Like a pack of wild beasts, the cars roared through the streets of Blackridge. Their destination was an abandoned slaughterhouse in Milestone Alley.

The place where Isla was being held.

Five minutes later, they arrived at the slaughterhouse.

"D*mmit, what the hell is going on?" Marcus Hanks was awake from his sleep in the yard and stumbled out with three of his men.

Boom!

With a thunderous crash, the Hummer burst through the wall, arcing through the air before landing in the courtyard.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Countless cars followed, performing aerial maneuvers as they landed in the yard, one after another.

Marcus and his men stood frozen in shock.

What on earth was happening?

The car doors opened, and dozens of imposing men flooded the yard. Their sheer presence seemed to darken the sun.

Logan stepped out of the Hummer, his gaze sweeping over Marcus and his men before settling on a huddled figure chained in the corner.

The girl's body was bound by a chain, her face marred with knife wounds and bites, old and new injuries blending with dried blood. She was barely recognizable as a human.

But Logan recognized her immediately. It was Isla.

That was his sister, who he should've protected with his life!

But now, she was reduced to this.

Logan’s fury skyrocketed instantly, his intent to kill burning hotter than ever before.

"Please... please spare me..."
