At the nineteenth floor of the magnificent Island Resort Hotel, right in front of the opulent presidential suite, Mu Xiaofan was standing with her index finger extended, counting the rooms. "The third one on the left, one, two, three, yeah, this is it."
She had checked over and over again. This was certainly the room.
Taking a deep breath, she encouraged herself, "Come on, Mu Xiaofan, you can do this. You're here to catch an adulterer. You're on the side of morality, and inside there are simply a cheating couple. You have to represent the moon and eliminate them. As for breaking in, it's not an issue at all."
Having psyched herself up, Mu Xiaofan nervously used the spare room keycard to open the door, only to surprisingly discover that the door wasn't locked. Instantly she snorted with contempt at the couple inside. They were so eager to get it on that they didn't even shut the door thoroughly.
Well, that was good for her. She had been worried that the sound of the keycard might alert the people inside, but now there was no need to worry about that.
Stealthily, she pushed the door open and walked in. Mu Xiaofan felt a bit like a thief. But then she remembered that she was on the side of justice; she straightened her posture and walked right into the room.
The lighting in the bedroom seemed to have been intentionally adjusted to a warm hue, creating an ambiguous atmosphere. Mu Xiaofan immediately saw the man lying on the bed, and for a moment, she was somewhat stunned.
The man's hair on the bed was dyed a chestnut color. Depending on his sleeping profile, the hair dangled randomly to one side. His fair skin under the lamplight glowed like fine jade. His lengthy eyelashes, paired with his closed eyes, gave the illusion of a miniature brush casting a shadow.
From Mu Xiaofan's perspective, she could perfectly see the man's dense eyebrows, prominent nose bridge, and impeccable lips.
This man was devastatingly handsome - he was the sort that could lead nations to ruin. He was so attractive that he drew a nosebleed from Mu Xiaofan.
After being momentarily dazed by his charm, Mu Xiaofan quickly clutched onto the fact that this supremely handsome man in front of her was nothing but scum.
Once it hit her, Mu Xiaofan instantaneously lost interest. No matter how handsome, once a man turns into a flag-waving philanderer, he ought to be eradicated. Even though he may look hundred times more dashing, she'd not show any mercy while beating him.
But where is the mistress?
Mu Xiaofan's gaze swept across the room, finally landing on the washroom - and it all clicked. Suddenly noticing the doorknob of the washroom moving startled her, and she instinctively hid—diving under the bed.

Mo Qianqian gracefully walked out of the washroom. She slowly walked to the bed and sat down. Only then did she contentedly lie down beside Ye Chen.
However, before she could settle down, she suddenly saw a dark shadow slithering out from under the bed. She was startled, almost falling off the bed, looking horrified as she stammered, "Who...who are you? How did you get in my room?"
It wasn't that Mo Qianqian was timid, but today was arguably the most important turning point in her life. It couldn't afford any glitches.
These past few days she had been striving to win Ye Chen's affection, and had carefully planned tonight's drama. All that was left was for the pre-arranged reporter to burst in and expose them, following which, she would propose marriage to Ye Chen.
