At A City International Airport, a flux of people of all sorts continually pass through.
Walking out of the airport entrance was a young girl dragging her suitcase. Her hair flowed down like a Milky Way pouring from the sky. Her narrow, leaf-like eyebrows arched above shining eyes sweeping their gaze. A delicate, pretty nose and delicately pink lips on an unadorned face. Her long, slender legs were quite noticeable among the airport crowd.
The young lady seemed to be searching for someone as she was continually looking around until her eyes locked onto an upright silhouette in the crowd.
Taking a quick step forward, she approached the handsome man from behind, pressed her two fingers against his back, and intentionally lowered her voice saying, “Hand over your money, or I’ll shoot.”
Presumably guessing who it was, the corners of Fu Yunhang’s lips turned upwards. His perfect and resolute jawline was irresistible, especially when he smiled. Putting away his smile, he responded, “I don’t have money, but I do have myself.”
“Alright then, come obediently home with me.” The young lady said.
Fu Yunhang grabbed her wrist, pulling her in front of him. His expression turned serious, “Are you threatening to kidnap a nationally-ranked military officer? Let's check how many years of life imprisonment that will get you, I’ll be sure to visit you if you’re locked up.”
“No fun at all.” Mo Xiaoxi shook off his hand and with a tinge of disappointment said, “Can't you play along with your fiancée for once? It’s not every day I get to come back to the country after all.”
Her voice was too loud, attracting the attention of everyone at the airport. People couldn't help looking at them, attracted to the couple's strikingly good appearances.
Fu Yunhang stiffened, hearing the familiar voice in his dreams, Miss Mo Xiaoxi, who had been studying abroad for nearly a decade.
Mo Xiaoxi excitedly jumped up, her hands naturally wrapped around his neck. Even though he was much taller, she wrapped her legs around his waist as well. She cling to him like a koala to a tree.
"I thought I was under attack at A City Capital Airport, you mischievous girl! Your ways are even quirky when you return home." His deep voice lingered in Mo Xiaoxi's ears. She was all aglow, and she wished she could stamp a sign on his forehead that read “This man is taken.”
"Hmph, you guessed it, not fun at all." Mo Xiaoxi rubbed her forehead against his neck.
"You're so grown up yet you still act like a child. Get off me, look at all the people at the airport watching us. This is not good for the public image." Fu Yunhang, turning thirty, has become more mature after years of military training. Yet, his look of adoration has not changed.
Upon hearing Fu Yunhang's remarks, Mo Xiaoxi slid down from him, sat on the ground, and pretended to burst into tears. Her heartbroken expression almost made it believable.
"You heartless man, deserter! I've just been overseas for a few years and you've started an affair, tossing your fiancée like an old shoe out of mind. Have you no conscience? Is it wrong to miss you that much and want to hug you? Why am I so unlucky to fall for such a playboy like you…” She moaned.
With that, she became increasingly dramatic, drawing a crowd around her. Watching the beautiful girl crying on the ground, they all started to point fingers at Fu Yunhang, who was standing by her side.
He never expected that he, a dignified military officer, would be caught in such a situation by this mischievous girl.
