Introduction
A humble life, blessed by divine providence, he bid adieu to his kin, thus setting foot on a tumultuous path of the strong. "If no one offends me, I do not offend anyone. If anyone offends me, I will indeed retaliate." He treats it as his lifelong motto. He is ruthless to his enemies, just as indifferent as the frigid winter; yet to others, he is as cordial as the gentle rays of sunlight. His legend begins here...

The Sage Speaks:

"Do not do unto others what you don't want done to you; do not commit an act because it's a minor sin; do not avoid an act because it's a minor good deed."

The autumn wind is bleak; it brings desolation and bitterness.

As the sun sets in the west, dusk is approaching.

Underneath an old dry tree wrapped in vines, a lean young man is ranting at the crows perched above.

"Why?"

"Why are my meridians obstructed?"

The crow up in the tree caws loudly.

"Why is my body so weak?"

"Caw, caw, caw..."

"..."

The harsh sounds hit his ears, seemingly mocking and scoffing him. The young man's pride can't take it any longer. Filled with indignation, he is blinded by anger, his mind ablaze with rage. There's only one thought — revenge.

The angry, lean young man's eyes flare. He clenches his teeth and climbs up the old tree wrapped in vines...

"Caw, caw, caw..." The cacophonous crows notice him. Their caws become agitated, seemingly threatening the young man climbing towards them.

"Die, you winged harbingers of doom!" The lean young man's expression is cruel. Despite great effort, he scales the treetop and strikes at the coarse bird nests.

Suddenly, weeds and sticks flew everywhere, and feathers fluttered in the sky.

The lean young man had destroyed the crow's nest, laughing victoriously, his cruel expression filled with pleasure after revenge.

"Caw, caw, caw..." The crows squawked angrily after their nest had been smashed to pieces, as if reprimanding the human who humiliated them.

"Come on, come on, you harbinger of disasters, haha..." The lean young man seemed a little crazy, laughing ecstatically.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The three thunderous sounds scared the boy, almost making him lose his grip and fall from the tree.

As the saying goes, the power of nature is unpredictable.

The lean boy frantically steadied himself, clinging to the old withered tree as he looked anxiously up at the changing sky. A bad feeling was creeping into his heart.

Even though it was already evening, the sky suddenly lit up.

The wind roared in his ears. Above the firmament, the clouds ran wild and undulated quickly, forming a huge whirlpool. Within the whirlpool, the air swirled, releasing a powerful energy...

From within the cloud layer, intense explosion sounds echoed almost simultaneously with the thunder, as if an extraordinary power was fighting fiercely. Bright light would occasionally shoot out from the whirlpool, disappearing quickly.

Zap!

A blinding bolt of light shot out from the whirlpool, falling at unprecedented speed, with a long tail trailing behind it...

Seeing the lightning fall, many people were frightened. Quite a few even knelt on the ground, banging their heads in reverence, their lips moving mutely as if chanting some spell.

"This can't be happening... Oh my gosh..." Lei Ye's eyes bulged almost out of his sockets, murmuring to himself non-stop.

The glaring lightning descended from the nine heavens, heading straight for him.

Run!

Lei Ye could only have this thought, but his limbs were numb, not responding at all.

No...

Help!

Seeing the lightning getting closer, Lei Ye roared in his heart, giving a desperate scream.

In the sky, within the dazzling lightning, a blurred figure was anxiously looking down, cursing incessantly in his heart.

"Damn it, where did everyone go?"

"Huh?"

"Why is there a fool on the tree?"

"I can't hold on anymore, you're the unfortunate one!"

"Fool, you're going to feel ecstatic today, wahahaha..."

Lei Ye didn't want to die; the desire to survive spurred him to struggle desperately.

To his surprise, he found he could make a sound. However, the lightning was already heading straight for him.

"No..."

The speed of lightning was too fast, even faster than his thought process. By the time he had any reaction, the beautiful and spectacular lightning had already struck him.

His inhuman screech echoed far...

Indeed,

Misfortune and fortune are doorless, it's the individuals who invite them.
