Due to the naked loan, my life has become unbearable.
Don't rush to criticize me. This is not as people imagine. In fact, I'm a victim, really.
Before this, I was just selling fried chicken cutlets on the outskirts of a university town.
It was probably on the day after my photo was leaked that I sensed something was wrong.
Most of the people who came to buy stuff from me were students. They continued to stare at my face after saying what they wanted to buy, then quietly laughed and whispered to each other on the side.
While preparing their chicken cutlets and chicken tenders, I was puzzled, unsure why they were looking at me like this.
I was depressed all morning.
By noon, I heard a boy from the crowd called out to me, "Chicken cutlet girl! How much money did you borrow?"
"What borrowing money?"
"He’s asking you, how much are your naked photos worth!" Another boy from the side immediately echoed.
"I don't sell nude photos, I sell chicken cutlets! If you want to buy nude photos, go to the guy selling porn CDs under the overpass!"
After handing over the chicken cutlets to him, I quickly drove them away.
In this kind of business, it is common to be teased by hooligans and naughty students. I've gotten used to always having a sharp retort ready for them.
I was very busy at the time, so I didn't think too much about it.
After receiving his chicken cutlet, the boy immediately whispered to a friend beside him, "Her business is so good here, why does she need to borrow money from those big bosses? I can’t understand."
And then, he left.
I was caught off guard at first, not even detecting anything amiss until lunchtime peak was over. That was when my best friend, Nan Zaohe, came looking for me, revealing the inklings of an issue.
Carrying two cups of milk tea and a textbook, she didn't utter a single word as she entered the cashier's counter, sitting by the table and blankly staring at the phone in her hand.
At two in the afternoon, she should be in class.
"I have a date."
Nan Zaohe responded absent-mindedly, her gaze still fixated on her phone's call log.
"I finished reading all the books the day before yesterday, but you didn't mention coming today, so I didn't bring them." I turned around to wash my hands, preparing to fry some chicken tenders for her.
"It's okay, I have to go out later. Just leave the book here."
Nan Zaohe replied nonchalantly. Glancing outside as she spoke.
She seemed a little down.
Suddenly, her phone rang and her spirits lifted instantly.
She then quickly rose, walking over to me, and curiously peeked towards the road.
I had no idea what was going on, when she tugged at my sleeve in excitement, whispering in a shrill voice, "Huan Huan, do you see that car?"
Even those with the faintest sight could spot it. The Bentley was an eye-catcher amidst the bunch of cars!
As Nan Zaohe chattered in excitement, the door of the Bentley swung open.
I saw a man in a suit stepping out of his car, walking briskly towards us.
He took off his sunglasses as he walked.
He was remarkably handsome, reminiscent of a movie star. With his prominent nose bridge and expressive eyes, even when he furrowed his brow he was so striking that it was hard to look away.
"Yu Qinghuan?"
He stood at the entrance of my shop, pointing at me with his sunglasses and asking me lightly in a questioning tone.
I was sure that I had never met him before.
"It's me! I'm Yu Qinghuan."
Before I could respond, Nan Zaohe standing beside me coughed lightly and seriously responded.
I was shocked and turned my head to look at her, confused about why she suddenly took my name.
But the man in front of me seemed to ignore Nan Zaohe completely, only staring straight at me and called my name again, "Yu Qinghuan?"
I was confused about what was going on and didn't want to interfere with Nan Zaohe charming the handsome guy, so I remained silent.
Unexpectedly, the man suddenly reached over the counter, tightly seized my arm, and dragged me out.
"What are you doing! Let go of me!" I shouted out in fear, desperately struggling as I glanced back at Nan Zaohe and my chicken chop shop, "I'll call the police if you continue like this!"
However, a hint of panic flashed across Nan Zaohe’s face at this moment, and she made no move to help me.
As a girl, how could I have the strength to resist a grown man? Before I knew it, he had dragged me to the nearby parking lot.
"I'll call your dad to close the shop, don't worry!"
Zao He said across the street, responding back to me in a frantic hurry. He didn't mean to help me at all.
There were people in the Bentley, who directly dragged me into it!
I was dragged from the shop into the car, this process probably took less than a minute.
And my friend, instead of helping me, was more concerned about whether someone would come to close the shop door. I found it absolutely absurd!
