The dark night was accompanied by a chilling wind.

And the pouring rain seemed to engulf the entire city.

The girl's long black hair was drenched and in a mess; her white dress clung to her skin. She sprinted through the rain with all her might, but suddenly stumbled and fell to the ground as a puddle splashed on her face.

Her petite body trembled as she shivered.

Suddenly, dazzling lights started to come toward her. The black luxury car was particularly eye-catching on this rainy night.

Myra Martin tried her best as she staggered to the front of the car. She said in a soft voice, "Please, save me!"

"What's wrong?"

The sudden stop made Drake Pierce frown. His voice was as cold as ice.

"Mr. Pierce, there is someone in front of the car," Eric Dillon explained.

"Save me..." A sorrowful voice sounded.

In the rain, Myra's scrawny body shook like she was about to fall. Her face was pale as her eyes pleaded, which made people feel deeply sorry for her.

A weak and bright smile appeared on Myra's face when she saw his face. His eyes were dark as she looked at him with expectation.

When they got off the car, Eric held an umbrella for them. Drake entered the room with Myra in his arms.

Myra's entire body was drenched. The blankets were soaked as soon as she was placed on the bed.

"She must have been drugged. Go get some medicine." Drake ordered.

Once he prepared the medicine, he held Myra up as he gently fed her the medicine.

An hour later, Myra opened her eyes gently and looked up.

The ceiling was exquisite and matched with a beautiful chandelier. She was in a completely unfamiliar environment. Where... where was she?

"I..." As soon as she opened her mouth, her throat became dry.
