A taxi pulled over at the parking lot and a young lady in a white dress and long hair ran out of the car and went under the shade of her apartment building as she rubbed off the rain that had fallen on her hair and dress.

She drew a sharp breath as she glanced up at the pouring rain, her eyes were sad as she recalled what the doctor had told her when she went to the hospital to see her caregiver, Rita who has been rushed to the hospital and was diagnosed with acute kidney failure.

“Kelsey, Rita’s condition is getting better and without an urgent surgery we might lose her, we have to perform the surgery.”

Kelsey opened her eyes and tears rolled down her cheek, she knew she had to raise medical expenses since she wasn’t going to let the lady who has given her so much care and showed her kindness to die like that, she knew she had to find a way, even if the money for the surgery was much.

Kelsey wiped her tears with the back of her hand and raised her eyes to suppress the one that lingered in her eyes before making her way into the mansion, she was about heading to her room to change her soaked outfit but when she passed Hylda’s room which was right next to hers, she heard the moan coming from Hylda’s bedroom since they were being loud in there, she thought it was Hylda and someone else blowing off steams in this cold weather and wanted to walk past the door, but she halt when she heard Hylda mention Cole’s name

Kelsey leaned closed to the door and listened to the conversation they were having inside the bedroom. “Oh, come on, I love this---” A loud voice came from the bedroom followed by a moan, it was dead at night, it was pouring heavily outside, but in the room with lights on, a man was on a woman and he thrust slowly inside of her as his lips located her lips and he kissed her passionately.

“You love me, right?” The lady asked him as he made her turn and she pushed her bottom up as he held her hips with his both hand and thrusted inside of her again and she moaned loudly while he groaned. “Tell me, Cole…” She demanded, but didn’t speak, but he rather thrusted harder making her cry out in pleasure.

“Say my name, Hylda!” He told her with a soft groan and she closed her eyes and gave her all to him as he pushed forward and out ward, they had both found their release, but was going for the second round and Kelsey has been the one who demanded more of him since she can’t get enough of him.

He made her lay on her back and then he leaned forward, kissed her lips slowly and then lowered his tongue to her cherry nipples as he licked them and let his hand wander down her upper thigh.

“Why don’t you break up with Kelsey?” Hylda asked him as she looked down at his face, Kelsey was her adoptive sister and Cole’s girlfriend, and she despised her so much. “Break up with Kelsey and just be with me Cole.” Hylda told him again, but Cole was so immersed in the sex, that he filled her inside and sped up the action, thrusting faster this time that it made Hylda scream in ecstasy.

Kelsey felt her blood boil in her veins and she clenched her jaw as she didn’t want to make a sound since she wanted to hear all they would say and what Cole would say and what got her offended was when she heard Hylda tell Cole to dump her.

Kelsey was silently listening, but at this point Hylda’s parents who heard the sound coming from the bedroom since they were being loud came up the stairs to see Kelsey by the door with her hand clenched.

“Kelsey, what is going on?” Mrs Miller asked her as she glanced from Kelsey who did not respond to her to the door where they could hear loud moaning and Mr Miller read between the lines and was too angry that he held the doorknob and kicked the door open since he couldn’t stand it anymore and at the sound of the opened door, Hylda and Cole who were naked and together quickly tore apart and Cole’s eyes dilated, he wasn’t expecting Kelsey to return home now because she had told him she was going to the hospital to see her caregiver, but he was more shocked to also see Hylda’s parents here, Hylda quickly pulled the quilt over her shoulder to hide her nakedness.

“What the heck is going on here?!” Mr Miller raised his voice as he looked from Hylda who has the quilt over her shoulder to Cole who quickly covered his nakedness with his shot.

Kelsey glanced from the smiling Hylda to Cole who quickly looked her in the eyes and he saw the sadness in her eyes. She parted her lips to bitterly denounced his betrayal but pressed them back together since she still wishes to recall the golden day’s they both shared, but pain surged in her heart.

Cole quickly climbed down from the bed and fell to his knees, he slapped his face making Hylda who saw this gasp and he clasped his hand together in his front. “I am sorry Kelsey, please forgive me just this once, please, I am so sorry,” He looked at her face as he begged her for forgiveness because he was in love with her, he had cheated on her just now with her adoptive sister, but he really loved her. “Kelsey, I can explain, I really didn’t want to do it, I still am in love with you, so do not misunderstand all these and forgive me just this once, Please Kelsey, please---” He keeps confessing and explaining since he was flustered to see Kelsey here.

The scene was chaotic as Mrs Miller and Mr Miller looked at Cole who was pleading bitter and then they glanced at their daughter, Hylda, to see the bittered look on her face and Mr Miller was so angry at the moment since it feels like Hylda has been the one who lead Cole on.

Mr Miller felt his daughter needed scolding since his wife was silent about this whole thing. “How can you have an affair with Cole when you are going to marry Lawrence?!” Mr Miller scolded his daughter but she turned to her father.

“I won’t marry that useless illegitimate son!” She said in a loud voice hating the sound of Lawrence’s name, she looked at her mother and then at Kelsey. “I have something to tell all of you,” she said the words and they turned their eyes and looked at her, Kelsey was so mad and didn’t want to hear anything as all she wanted to do was leave this place, but she halted when she heard Hylda’s words. “I am pregnant with Cole’s baby!” She said in a loud voice and placed her hand on her stomach.

“What!” Cole shouted in shock as he looked at Kelsey with a wide gaze and shook his head but Kelsey glanced at Hylda and her eyes lowered on Hylda’s stomach.

“I am not lying, we had sex multiple times Cole, so I am expecting your child.” She lied in order to cancel the marriage since she won’t want to get married to a person like Lawrence.

Kelsey was speechless as it feels like a loud trumpet has been blow in her ears, but her face was expressionless and Cole quickly grabbed Kelsey’s hand as he begged, but Kelsey suppressed the anger in her heart as she can’t believe he has the gut to beg her for forgiveness right now after he has done this to her.

Kelsey had not said a word, but hearing this, she decided to give up on him completely, she pulled her hand from his grip and raised her hand as she slapped him across the face coldly making everyone in the room gasp.

“Let’s break up, Cole!” She put forward to break up with him and his eyes dilated as he saw the indifferent look on Kelsey’s face, Hylda who had the quilt over her shoulder felt more hatred for Kelsey even now.

“Hylda, I don’t care if that is true, if you are carrying this man’s child, all I know is that you are going to get married to Mr Lawrence of the Mendes family!” Mrs Laura said in a loud angry voice since they had already agreed to this with the Mendes’s family that the first child of Miller’s family would get married to Lawrence.

“No way!” Hylda shouted since she had made up her mind to get married to Cole because she was in love with him and not a man that she has heard idle rumors about. “I won’t marry a man I have not set eyes, I won’t marry and illegitimate son of the Mendes family, he is worthless and an idler, I don’t see a future with him either!” Hylda barked and her parents who were in a shocked state still insisted as they were all arguing in the room, Cole still begging Kelsey.

“I will marry him!” They all heard Kelsey’s voice and the room became silent as they all turned their eyes on her. “I will get married to Lawrence instead of Laura, but on the condition that you will provide the money for Mrs Rita’s medical treatment.” She told them since she was the only person Kelsey cares about right now.

Mrs Miller scoffed as her eyebrows creased. “You have no conscience Kelsey, all you can think of in this situation is money?” Mrs Miller insulted her and Cole part his lips since he didn’t believe that Kelsey would actually say she would marry a man she has not set her eyes on.

But right now, Kelsey was unmoved by the insult, because Rita is the only one who cares about her and she can only imagine what Rita would do now if she was actually here to see this mess, none of them cared for her, none of them even value her, all they could think of was Hylda and Cole who she thought loved her has betrayed her, he cheated on her and now he will be expecting a baby soon, how can they all tell her that she has no conscience right now? It was funny to her eyes even.

Hylda looked at Kelsey’s determined face and was glad, she was happy that Kelsey was giving Cole up and that she can have him now to herself. “Mom, that won’t be a bad idea, I agree to this decision,” Hylda said with a smile as they all looked at her. “Kelsey can have him, she can marry the idler from Mendes family.” She said this with a grin and Kelsey glared at her, but as long as it would give her the money she needed, she would be willing to go through with this.

“You can’t possibly allow this?” Cole glanced at their parents and then back at Kelsey. “Don’t do this Kelsey,” Cole wanted to stop this, but the look on Kelsey’s face told him that he couldn’t as he drew a sharp breath.

“Fine, if you want to marry him, then you should and the money would be deposited in your account after the marriage.” Mrs Miller told her and with this Kelsey walked out of the room without a second glance at any of them as what filled her heart was anger and pain, but her expression remained indifferent.
