Cassie POV

I strut through the hallway under the prying eyes of wannabes, bullies, Jocks, rebels and most importantly Cheerleaders........ What's an highschool without them.

I pressed my chemistry text book on my chest as I bent my head and walk past them, the first day I looked at one of the Cheerleaders in the eye my whole locker was ransacked and my books destroyed.

I was that usual highschool nerdy teen everyone wants to bully, I have been able to record up to thirteen of my glasses broken by the SK gang whom the leader Torres is the boyfriend to the head Cheerleader.

Of course I wasn't the only one who got bullied, a lot of us with good grades were also bullied and they made us go through the Stairs of Shame which was a dark alley leading to the school dump from there you can find a door leading into the school hallway which is where I am coming from.

"Hey! Nerdy four eyes...... Your shoes are untied" Amelia Jay my former best friend while in middle school, I hate her now but I can't truly blame her for the switch up on me....... Amelia had actually had it rough, her mom and dad got separated two years ago and like that wasn't enough her mom who she was living with, died.

When she said that I quickly bent to tie my shoes while she pasted a "I am a nerdy slut" on my back which I didn't feel until later, as oblivious as I was I stood up knowing she had tricked me and walked away from there.

I paraded myself around carrying that pasted which was pasted at the back of my hoodie, I did notice a couple of people laughing but my mind didn't go there....... I knew they always laughed at me so it was a usual thing.

I sat through Chemistry class with people mumbling something at my back and they were really laughing so hard to a point, Jerome one of the SK gang got up and said.

"Yo! Cassie..... When are you going to come over to my house and suck my d*ck like the nerdy slut that you are......" He said after the Chemistry teacher left the class for brief moment, I felt my body go cold as I wondered where he got such idea from.

I checked around me but found nothing...... If only I knew then that it was just at my back. I wanted to stand up for myself but something was holding me back, that lioness in me was yet to come out of her cage and so I remained the sheep.

When I refused to respond and went back to reading my book, I felt someone yank something out of my back.

"Mason don't tell me you were going to put that on Cassie...." The teacher walked back into the class and said which made me turned to see almighty Mason Jason, the cold guy like everyone would call him with an innocent cute yet handsome face but had a vicious side for those who had slept...... they are the one who can testify, I only listen to the rumors I manage to hear from the Stairs of Shame girls.

"No sir...... You've got the wrong idea..." He tried to defend himself.

Mr Melvin our chemistry teacher took away the paper from Mason's hand and read it aloud, ".....I... am a.... nerdy slu..." He didn't complete the word before he reacted, "Really Mason? Having bad grades isn't enough and now this...... Detention for a week and I am taking this up with the principal.... Leave my class"

Without saying a word he took his bag and left along with couple of his friends that dominated the back area of the class, they followed him like they were the ones penalized.

I should have stood up for him but it was too late and Mr Melvin would've thought that I was bullied into doing so.

And to top it off, The Layers we're the worst set of gang in highschool though they weren't troublesome like the SK's but I know that the SK gang pretty much fear them.

"Where were we in our last class, Jessica...." Mr Melvin began his lecture after a long speech about bullying.

When the class was over I went over to confront Amelia but like I said the lioness in me was still locked in, when I was close to her I quickly turned away and approached the Stairs of Shame.

"Cassie..... Cassie..... " One of the nerdy girls walking the alley called out to me. "I heard you and Mason met eye to eye..... Please tell me how he smelt like...." She said with excitement along with her other friends as they lingered to hear what I had to say.

"It happened so fast so I couldn't tell what he smelled like......" I replied before I took off, they still ran up to me, following my every step, which made it seem so hard to desert them.

They stuck on me like a tongue on ice, everywhere I went they were there, even during P.E it was like they were never going to leave my side.

By the end of the day it was already tiring having them around, I am already used to being alone it didn't matter who were around me.

"My baby....." My mom shouted when I got next to her car, I tried to tell her to keep shut but well she is one attention seeker that can't be avoided. My mom is actually an international celebrity but very little people knew am her daughter, I am not as attractive for people to pay close attention to.

"How was school? I took two hours out of my busy schedule to come pick you up and have lunch before I return back to the set" she said happily, I wasn't even listening as I was checking around for anybody watching who could recognize her, Eve her was way too flashy.

I jumped into the car so we could zoom off..... It was a good thing she didn't bring with her, her body guard.
