In the sky above the battlefield beyond the territories, a solemn killing aura was palpably present.

On the entire battlefield, all the soldiers held their breaths, their eyes riveted on the towering figure before them.

That person, that was their sky!

The woman was clad in heavy armor, half of her pretty face smeared with blood. Her eyes were cold and clear.

Then she leaped up high, with a swing of her sword, an invisible sword aura emanated.

The enemy leader hundreds of meters away, full of astonishment on his face, his head rolling, blood splashing.

The soldiers were very excited, “General Dempsey is invincible! The enemy leader was killed by one stroke of her sword!”

Seeing their leader dead, the enemy troops collapsed one by one, all of them bowing their heads in terror, "We swear to follow the War God till death!"

"Congratulations, War God!"

"Happy for you, War God!"

Standing high above, Ophelia looked down at the people under her feet, ignoring them with the air of a god descending upon earth.

"My lord."

"Do you need me to arrange for hot soup?"

A female lieutenant behind her stepped forward, apparently with great respect for the woman in front of her, she asked carefully with her head lowered.

Our lord doesn't like blood. After every battle, she bathes and changes her clothes.

Ophelia softly hummed, "Mm."

When Ophelia returned to her tent, the female lieutenant had already prepared a tub of hot water.

"Allow me to help you change, my lord."

Just as the lieutenant stepped forward, Ophelia waved her away gently. With delicate fingers, she loosened her armor.

As the armor hit the ground, a clang echoed through the air, stirring a cloud of dust.

The woman smoothly gathered up her hair to reveal a smooth and delicate back, its enticing curve extending all the way down to her waist.

The lieutenant struggled to swallow her saliva, feeling ashamed of herself before the perfectly sculpted body of their goddess of war.

Her gaze moved lower, she couldn't resist but snicker to herself, the body was firm, stronger than any honey peach she had ever eaten.

The only regret was the old scars that marked her body. The pink scars ran all over her body, lending her an alluring, wild beauty...

When the war goddess stepped into the tub, only then did the lieutenant scoop a handful of water and let it fall onto Ophelia's shoulders.

The water was so clear that the lieutenant's cheeks were flushed, her ears burning.

Even though she often served her lord by her side, she was always shy and intrigued when she saw Ophelia's figure. It was something she could never get tired of seeing.

Her lord's body, it had to be said, was too perfect...

The broadness of it...

The sight of her sculpted abs filled the lieutenant with a sense of shame, stirring up feelings she couldn't get enough of.

However, she hadn't forgotten about the main issue.

"Master."

"There is a message from the Dempsey family, asking you to return for your wedding."

Ophelia, who was originally pretending to sleep next to the bath, opened her eyes suddenly, her gaze becoming chill instantly.

"Impudence!"

"Who do they think they are!"

"The Dempsey family is really getting impatient with life, daring to meddle in my marriage!"

Feeling the torrent of rage radiating from the Master, the female lieutenant was frightened and quickly knelt down, her expression panicked.

"Please calm down, Master!"

"Today is the day of your complete victory, Master. I know I shouldn't have mentioned this matter as it dampens your triumphant mood."

"But…"

Julia's eyes were evasive, hesitant. After all, she had just enraged the Master, she wouldn’t dare to add fuel to the fire.

Suppressing the anger in her heart, Ophelia splashed water on her face, washing away any traces of blood.

Her face was beautiful, yet not without a hint of allure. Especially the teardrop mole at the corner of her eyes which added a touch of gleaming brightness to her eyes.

"Speak."

The Master is just so beautiful...

Julia was also startled, coming to senses, she said, "This marriage arrangement was decided by Audrey on his deathbed..."

"It was his dying wish..."

"Even if you truly don't want to marry, Master, you need to give them an explanation..."

Ophelia's delicate eyebrows furrowed, despite her reluctance, she had to agree with Julia's words.

She let out a deep sigh, revealing an exhausted expression on her face, "Prepare the vehicle immediately, we're heading for Paignton."

"I'll give them an explanation myself!"

Julia breathed a sigh relief, "Yes!"

Somewhere else, in the Masham Mountain.

A man was descending from the mountain, even though he was wearing the clothes from decades ago, his aura was captivating.

Eleanore was in a good mood, hands behind his head, casually clinching a grass stalk in his mouth, looking self-satisfied.

Blowing a tuneless whistle, it was hard to express the delight in Eleanore's heart.

"It's been more than ten years."

"Finally, I have ended this hellish life of over ten years."

Looking back at these past years' memories, Eleanore was moved to tears thinking about them.

Nine masters had been finding new ways to torment him relentlessly.

Over the past decade or so, he could hardly get a good night's sleep. He was perpetually hungry and cold.

Luckily, he was now better than blue, surpassing all nine of the masters in skills.

This was why he could finally leave the mountain.

Of course, there was a purpose behind this journey down the mountain.

Thinking back to the tragic annihilation of the Aldridge family, Eleanore's expression turned grave, his tightly clenched fists whitening from the pressure.

He would never let the murderer of his family go unpunished!

But before investigating the perpetrator of the Aldridge family's massacre, he had to make a detour to Paignton to cancel his marriage.

His masters, fearing his impulsive actions, warned him, "Women are like tigers; do not mess with them. It would be best to find your betrothed, Ophelia."

Of course, Eleanore let their advice go in one ear and out the other. He was already carrying a deep-seated hatred and now how could he get deeply involved in love and affection?

Additionally, he didn't want to keep others waiting.

With this thought, the joy he felt earlier vanished, and his heart grew heavier.

His time was stolen; the safety of his life was bought with the lives of fifty members of the Aldridge family!

If he couldn't take his revenge by his own hands one day, how could he flawlessly live in this world with a tranquil heart?

Looking towards the direction of Paignton, Eleanore's gaze hardened, and he quickened his pace.

As soon as he descended the mountain, Eleanore found himself on the road, his eyes suddenly becoming focused. Nearly getting hit by a black sedan coming from behind, Eleanore's quick reflexes made him slap the ground causing him to leap into the air over the car - narrowly escaping danger.

However, before he could catch his breath, dozens of SUVs rushing towards him appeared seemingly out of nowhere.

"Damn it!"

"They're back?"

Before the people in the car could react, everyone felt something whiz past them.

"What was that thing that just flew past?"

"Nevermind that! Speed up!"

Fortunately, these SUVs were chasing the black sedan, effectively creating a blockade around the sedan. With a swoosh, both car doors were flung open, fierce and intimidating men stepped out of the SUVs. Each one clutching an iron bar, they encircled the small sedan.

"Get out of the car now!"

Are they about to fight?

A frown appeared on Eleanore's face. The road was so narrow and it was blocked by these cars.

He had no choice but to cross his arms and wait to see what kind of spectacle these people were going to put on.

Should this delay him too long, he wouldn't mind creating his own path...through bloodshed.

Who could possibly be in that sedan to have incited such wrath?

Just as Eleanore was wondering, the sedan's door swooshed open, and a high-heeled leg stepped out onto the ground. This leg was so white it seemed to glow, long and slender.

His gaze slowly moved upwards...

Even for someone like Eleanore, who typically had no interest in women, couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, his eyes lighting up at the sight before him...
